The Washington Post had a story earlier today about the growing disarray in the Scott Walker campaign. There is mounting anxiety among Scott Walker donors about the direction of his campaign and increasing fears that it is running low on cash, leading to a growing consensus among some of the Wisconsin governors biggest financial backers that he needs to make a dramatic change. Most of the ire is directed at campaign manager Rick Wiley, who Walker supporters believe expanded the staff too quickly and has failed to calibrate spending during the summer fundraising season. A recent count put the number of full-time staff at around 90, and there have been no cutbacks in salaries, as there were earlier this summer in former Florida governor Jeb Bushs campaign.
There is a substantial amount of chatter that he needs to go, said one major Walker fundraiser, who requested anonymity to discuss private conversations. People are worried.
Walker aides, who declined to comment on the record, dismissed the idea of a management shake-up.Right now there is a rumor circulating in political circles that Scott Walker has already dumped long-time RNC apparatchik, Rick Wiley, from his position as campaign manager and a lot more turmoil is on the horizon. Under Wiley, the Walker campaign has burned through cash and goodwill like there was no tomorrow. It is probably too late for this to make much of a difference to Walkers campaign, putting this decision in the running to win the too-little-too-late award.

He bought his own hype. And found out he paid too much for it.
Deck chairs. Titanic. Rearranging.
Is Walker going to hang around long enough for at least the first few primaries?
Walker is at the 14:30 minute mark. And counting.
This is one of those GOPe Beltway consultants that Walker mistakenly hired and thus has seen his campaign tank. Wiley has a trail of failed RINO campaigns.
No. His donor base is drying up. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of his ground staff isn’t floating their resumes to other organizations.
How about George Will’s wife?
He needs to fire Brad Dayspring as well.
He appears to have a cast eye, as does Jeb. Little cosmetic crap like that hacksaws away on the impressions made by candidates. FDR couldn't walk, but that was never in the papers; JFK wore really, really ugly glasses, but was rarely photographed wearing them (I've seen exactly one such photo) and there weren't contact lenses then. Oh, hey, thanks google, I just saw four more.

Make that three. This is the one I’d seen before:

Oh is that right? Is she employed by him?
Probably a condition of some of his donations.
GOPe donors don’t buy assets and then not see that they are managed to their liking.
Ah, I see now. His wife is Mari Maseng, a Walker adviser. Seems not to be doing her job well.
Too little, too late.
I liked Walker alot, but was miffed at his selection of bad, RINO, Beltway, GOPe crap conslutants who have terrible track records.
the GOP insiders ... I expect them to flee Bush now and look to line up behind one candidate.
I think Kasich & Rubio are their choices ... looks like Walker continues to struggle.
Conventional wisdom is the “hot” personalities of Trump and Fiorina don’t sell on TV ... which is why politicians are coached the way they are. But you can see that the amiable types see flat on the stage in contrast to Trump.
there is an old adage that politicians are relative light-weights which is one explanation as to why Trump and Fiorina look impressive to the uninformed viewer.
I was not especially impressed with the Kasich performance yesterday, but his campaign continues to succeed. Rubio is getting accolades today, but where is he succeeding?
I managed to watch the 5 hours while rotating between treadmill, bicycle, and elliptical, ARC machines. Maybe I caught 70% of it.

Does this mean that Cincinnati’s wife is about to get a pay cut?
