Britain's Labour Party elects Jeremy Corbyn as new leader

Veteran far-left lawmaker Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader of Britain's opposition Labour Party on Saturday, a runaway victory that threatens to further divide the party as it struggles to recover from a heavy defeat in elections earlier this year.

Corbyn's win is one of the biggest political shake-ups in British politics in decades, marking a sharp left turn for his party and a rejection of the more centrist policies of his predecessors.

The silver-haired and bearded Corbyn, 66, has drawn vitriol and admiration in equal measure with his old-school socialist views: He wants more taxation for the rich, strongly opposes Britain's austerity measures, and argues for nationalizing industry. Considered an eccentric outsider just three months ago, he has surged in popularity to become the favorite over his three more mainstream rivals.

I didn’t think left-wingers had leaders. They’re usually just an out of control mob.

This guy is so radical, the publisher of Politics1 calls him a radical leftist. He is a member of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, wants to nationalize most major industries, supports unilateral disarmament, and wants to sanction all nations that don’t recognize gay marriage expect for Muslim nations.

Typical Lefty. Want to demonize Christians and Jews, while giving Muslims a free pass. Even though Muslims would actually harm gay people. Why? Because they’re such useful tools in the deconstruction of Western civilization.

This man was rated as the ‘outsider’ in the race, the “Donald Trump” of the Labour Party.

His election says people on the Left at a grassroots level are just as fed up as people on the Right with the phony ‘moderate’ politics of major political parties.

The ‘moderate’ polices of the major parties are just evidence they have been bought out by corporate elites and special interests that want open borders and cheap labor, among other things.

The Brits are upset about the Muslim take over of their Nation; something the liberals have pushed and promoted. In fact, they made it illegal to speak out against their foreign preference, cultural engineering program.

So, to show the idiots, they vote in Marxists...who will make things worse. They don’t know what they are doing. Thank God we have a constitution to rally around.

Peter King must be pleased with the election results.

Whilst you make a valid point about fear to speak out, Islam has not conquered the UK. Nor will it, for all the hype and the undoubted problems.

The UK has some serious Islam problems, but the hype coming from the US media that the UK is done and finished, a dhimmi state run by Islam, is nonsense. Not that we shouldn’t be complacent.

But 96% of the UK isn’t Muslim, 92-93% is white, three parts of the UK have little or no Muslims and small (other) ethnic pops. And Muslims aren’t the largest ethnic group: that’s black Afro-Caribbeans and black Africans, most from the 1940’s to 60’s Caribbean migration, some from Africa direct.

Whilst the UK has problems, far too much OTT nonsense is talked on here and in the US about the UK.

Nor for all the noise some extreme Muslims make, and far too much PC-ism to them and racial issues, do UK Muslims have any real economic, political or even social power.
