Every school in the country should become an academy, David Cameron says in a move that would represent the most significant reform of the education system since the introduction of the national curriculum. Writing in The Daily Telegraph, the Prime Minister says that the Tories will give all schools the opportunity to be free from the control of local authorities.
Taking advantage of the disarray in the Labour Party, Mr Cameron uses the article to establish himself firmly as the voice of the centre ground in British politics, saying the only the Tories are “showing we are the real party of working people”.

It would be nice if the Republican nominee pledges to dismantle all K-12 public education in this country, and appeal to Afro-American and Hispanic parents.

Unless there is competetion among the “Acadamies”, it means little.

I must apologize. Too many people around, reading this on the phone and drinking ... Cameron is full of crap. Academies are public schools. (I knew that, just don't recall this knowlege under the affluence of inkahol.) He also raised praised how the Torries support a minimum wage. That's sounds more like Cameron and today's Torries. Maggie is turning over in her grave.
There aren’t enough responsible enough parents to educate their children. If they even have a two parent family. So you can’t get rid of K-12, particularly K-8 where they school is essentially a babysitter while somebody goes to earns some dough.
What we can do is turn them into Military academies and meaningful trade schools with set-asides for the truly gifted. But that’s the paved road to fascism.
Cameron is a fake and this is a sham scam typical of business as usual politicians more interested in symbolism than substance.

It was intentional-—in the 30s and brought to the USA-—the destruction of Classical Education and Christianity (by the God is Dead crowd and the sodomites like John Maynard Keynes who was bragging about where to find boys for his homosexual orgies). Classical Education is the only true educational system (Socratic Method, Aristotelian Logic Euclidean Proofs and Rhetoric, Explicit phonies—Great Books including the Bible)-—which gives the children the tools to “think”with so they don’t end up with tribal minds-—(original source documents-—no Marxist/Socialist Lens (Social Studies LOL) and warped history, etc).
We need to end this operant conditioning of all our children and return to pre-Dewey times (pre-30s)-—which removes them at too young an age from their Natural Family-—the First and most important educators-—who instill values and ethics before the children are put into “group “think”” factories which destroys individualism and Virtue in children (on purpose).
