GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump will deliver an address on national security and veterans' issues from the USS Iowa, a retired battleship, on Sept. 15.

"Donald Trump is a long-standing supporter of veterans and the military and we are honored that he has chosen our organization and event for his major national security address,” said Joel Arends, chairman of the Veterans for a Strong America (VSA), in a statement on Thursday announcing the event.

how to extract himself without being too obvious

If there is anything HH hates, it's cameras: there is absolutely no lighting that can save that gentleman.

Fun at his expense - he's an Adult.

“Can Trump name 3 active generals?”

For a man that uses no teleprompter and answers everybody as best he can, he does better than most.

Hillary Clinton has done about 3 interviews in 5 months and I bet you dollars to donuts she got the questions in advance, maybe even the answers.

So what’s your point about Trump?

If he becomes President, the naval fleet will become the USS Trump I, Trump II, ... Trump CCCCCCCLXVII...

Medved spends most of his daily show disparaging Trump. I turn the radio off as soon as Rush is done at noon in Seattle area. Medved is a huge RINO fan. Likes Bush & Rubio & Kasich.

It is idiotic to test candidates for memorizing names of individuals. They should be asked policy questions instead.

AT least a dozen retired generals have visited Trump in Trump Tower.

When president Trump takes office, he will appoint his own generals. You bet Trump will find another Douglas McArthur. What is the point in memorizing Obama’s favorite generals?

I am sick of stupid gotcha questions.

The best part of this is, that when I listen to liberals talking about the possibility of a President Trump, they’re aboutthisclose to biting the cyanide pill.

Fecking cracks me up.

Suddenly, the ‘cult of personality’ phenomenon is giving them creeping heebie-jeebies.

The irony delights me.

[even better are the ones who openly despise Hillary and fear that All Hope Is Lost©]

Can Trump name 3 active generals?

I served in the Marines from 1961-1969 and can't even name the Commandant.

What's your point?

America needs another amateur on defense, and Donald the Dilettante is the perfect man for the job. Trump’s chumps insist it’s not fair to ask the man questions. It’s a wicked conspiracy. Take him at his word. “I’m a really, really smart and really, really rich man.” That should do for an entry level job like President of the United States. Look how well Obama did on defense not knowing anything.

Obama’s naivete about the world is what has us in trouble. The advisors Obama picked would be a 180 from who Trump would pick. Trump knows the existential threats to us, Obama never had a clue. Amateur in world affairs? Remember a guy named Reagan?

Given the purges, are there 3 active generals worth knowing the names of?
