I've long advocated for state sovereignty. Why the hell should NY and California be able to have any say over whether we drill under the great lakes?

Why are so-called “conservatives” defending McKinley? He was the guy who accelerated the political careers of the Bolshevist Roosevelt family, and for that reason alone he should be scorned.
Soetoro may be ignorant enough to believe that all Republicans were actually conservatives, but I’m fine with keeping him ignorant.

I think the state should do what they want to do in these kinds of issues. I lived in AK in the ‘70s and I almost never heard it called McKinley; it was always Denali.
If Hussein wants to change some name, let him change his own and otherwise STFU.
