A former Montgomery County music teacher was sentenced to 40 years in prison on Friday for sexually abusing 14 young children at an elementary school.
At the hearing, Lawrence W. Joynes spoke publicly about his actions for the first time and described himself as ashamed, frightened and remorseful.
“I’m so sorry I betrayed your faith and your trust in me,” said Joynes, a 27-year veteran of the public school system, addressing his former students in a statement. “I never, ever meant to harm any of you physically or emotionally. For any damage, any shame, any trauma that I’ve caused, I apologize from the depths of my soul.”
A teacher at 11 schools over his lengthy county career, Joynes pleaded guilty in May to sexually abusing students at New Hampshire Estates Elementary in Silver Spring, where he placed girls in sexual poses and made video recordings of them — movies he edited with sexually explicit captions, according to police and prosecutors.

WaPo probably wouldn’t have posted this if the teacher was homosexually molesting little boys.
Now if we could only start putting Marxist college “professors” in prison for the mental abuse they inflict upon the children who go to college.

11 schools meant exactly that -they DID know what was going on and just kept moving him along to the next school when they did - just like they would move a priest onto the next Church and school....someone in the school system should be accountable for this monsters actions as well.

Well, he’s worked in 11 schools, but is copping to abuse in only one of those schools. So, as they say, these kids are the ones we KNOW about . . .

He has effectively ‘killed’ every one of those kids, even though he left them breathing.
Their lives are destroyed.
There is NO amount of “sorry” that can fix that.
If they publicly chainsawed his evil ass and all the kids got to watch, *maybe* they'd feel a little better.
If you can’t afford to send your kids to a private/parochial school (better yet home school) you can’t afford to have kids..
Public schools = child abuse.
