NEW NATIONAL POLL: DONALD TRUMP HAS BIGGEST LEAD EVER WITH CARSON A DISTANT 2ND…(40% to Bush 10%)

A new national poll out today by OANN and Gravis Marketing has Trump up to 40%, his YUGEST lead ever over his Republican contenders. Here’s how each candidate rated:

oann_trump_forty

While Carson’s lead more than doubled, he’s still a distant second place with the rest of the GOP field behind him. Not that Jeb lost a bit as both Cruz and Fiorina gained.

Here’s the info on the poll:

Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 3,567 registered voters across the U.S. regarding the presidential election. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 2%. The total may not equal exactly 100% due to rounding. The polls were conducted on August 21-22 using interactive voice response, IVR, technology and weighted separately for each population in the question presented.

I thought Lindsey Graham was his OWN cleaning lady!

If lil Miss Lindsey had ANY self respect at all, she would just fold up her tent now, say ‘thanks for the memories’ and slink off into oblivion somewhere.

But being the drama queen she is, I expect this will go on a little bit longer, lol

Cruz would have been absolutely vilified by now by the likes of Krauthammer, Kelly, and O’Reilly. The tone would have been the old, tried-and-true “seriousness”, and Cruz would have been the radical right.
Trump did him a favor rescuing him from that. Go back to between Cruz’s announcement and Trump’s and see how they were positioning Cruz for the kill.
He didn’t have the cash or firepower to overcome the GOP/Democrat/Media Cartel....his well-named, Washington Cartel.
There’s a huge chance he’ll be the VP pick.

It’s no wonder he’s best friends with backstabber McCain.

Trump has made some simply devastating comments about Fiorina. There is no way for him to pick her in light of his scathing critique.

Very true. The fact is, Trump would be better served to go with Ted Cruz for VP for two reasons, (1) they agree on the need to bring the illegal invasion of America to a screeching halt, and (2) Cruz would very likely lock in Texas' electoral votes which is a substantial number.

I submit that as the nominee, Trump would probably end up with a lock on New York's electoral votes, and probably New Jersey as well. Put the south into the equation, and I see a potential Reaganesque landslide.

That is very interesting analysis. I have been VERY curious about the meetings between Cruz and Trump. It will be fascinating to see who Trump ends up choosing.

Agreed. It’s way too early and besides, this current poll doesn’t even say what they pollsters asked. It could have been: who annoys you most? Who do you support? Who would you vote for against Hillary? We’re assuming the question but the article never says.

Cruz and Trump intend to use this election to overthrow and take the Senate with Cruz as leader. Wait for it.

So we have big jumps for Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson, and significant increases for Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and George Pataki. On the other hand we have big drops for Scott Walker, Rand Paul, Chris Cristie, and Rick Perry, with smaller drops for Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum. So what does it all mean?

Looking at Comment #39, in a race with Hillary it would appear that Ben Carson or Marco Rubio would be the best VP candidates with Trump. Of course, with someone other than Hillary, a different calculation might surface. So, what do you think FRiends?

That’s what I hope, too.

I just hope the country survives the current admin.

Gotta admit, I’m not optimistic - I think we’re gonna see an economic “event” before that.

Perhaps I’m wrong - but the financial numbers tell quite a tale.

“But do you trust him? I still don’t. “

“Trust” and political candidate do not belong in the same sentence. That said, if you’re going to vote, you’re implicitly saying that you trust X person to be at least marginally better than their opponent.

Did you trust willard enough to vote for him? Did you trust mcinsane enough to vote for him? If so, what is so different from Trump? The only difference I see is that Trump doesn’t have a political record to run on. Not that it’s much of a deterrent given the “fine” records of both willard and mcinsane.

The choice as I see it then is more basic: do you vote for sort of “meh” choices or stay home? You can tell my views from my tagline.

If Trump makes it to nominee and doesn’t pick Cruz as VP, I can see Cruz as a Supreme Court appointment.

At Cruzs age, he would have an affect on this country for 30 yrs or so.

I like it. The part of learning managing by Trump. That’s good. I do like the idea of having Cruz on the Supreme Court.

He’s actually turning Democrats towards him if you can believe it, that’s how sick to death people are about illegals and this country being sold out. They know were getting screwed. I tell them, if they want to know the real Mexico look at their immigration laws. 1 year in prison and a 5000 peso fine if you sneak in. If you do it a second time it’s TEN years in prison. If you have a baby in Mexico the baby is NOT automatically a Mexican citizen and if you overstay your visa you are fined $70 bucks a DAY. Oh yes, and if people think Mexico is an entire country filled with dirt poor peasants starving and dying for work, maybe they should go down there and look at some of the neighborhoods. Brand new cars lining the streets, fancy houses, some neighborhoods you would think you were in Beverly hills. One of the supposedly poorest areas Chilpancingo Guerrero looks no different from freakn Miami. Brand new SUVs, even new taxis, shopping malls, people walking around wearing designer clothes, I even saw a van advertising trips to Los Angeles. They are screwing us over like nobodys business. Go to Google maps and then street level, where is the poverty? It’s a scam. Billions in US taxpayer dollars being sucked dry and they are living it up.

I see it basically the same way. Trump is working the north and midwest, while Cruz is working the south. Trump is after the business and working class vote, Cruz the evangelicals and hard right. Together they could accomplish more than either could separately. I think there is already a tacit realization in the Cruz camp that he isn’t catching fire. So what do you do when you’re not the rising star? You work towards building your base for next time and, if possible, hitch yourself to the rising star.

Watch Trump’s “ex” advisor Stone for clues. Also note that Trump is careful to never, ever speak a harsh word toward Cruz and vice versa. Same with Carson. I think that all three are loosely working in concert. And they absolutely need to. Even if Trump wins, it needs to be an epic blowout. Because he will need a huge mandate to have some level of protection from the vipers in the political class. 51% isn’t gonna cut it.

First, they want to survive as a country. After that, they hope to see some revival of what made America great.

Great post!

Most real Americans know we have little time and very few options left to save this country.

“I just hope the country survives the current admin.”

Obama ‘s SCORCHED EARTH program will kick in about 6 months before he leaves, and it will make Saddam’s SE look like a joke.

Just as a teaser....

1) He will flood the country with illegal aliens.

2) Many if not most will be Muslims(already started this quietly), and many will be terrorists.
