BREAKING: Trump Likely to be BANNED from Future Republican Debates
Political INsider ^ | 21 AUG 2015 | TPIWriter

This report should make Donald Trump supporters angry! While taxpayers are often funding political debates, the Republican Party has the ultimate say over its own events. And while the GOP is supposed to stand for the principles of the Founding Fathers, it can be manipulated by the political establishment which can’t stand Trump’s conservative views.

The real reason why the GOP is focusing on Trump’s threat to run as a 3rd party candidate is it would give them grounds to boot him from future debates. The Republican Party, to protect its interests, is probably willing to boot the front-runner candidate. And they have savvy enough operatives, such as Karl Rove, who are ready to do it…

That would finish the Republican Party. Maybe this is what Cruz and Trump have been discussing.

In the primaries I will vote for Cruz. In the General I will vote for either Cruz or Trump if either becomes the nominee. BUT if they bar Trump from the debates I will vote for no Republican Candidate except Trump. And I will vote against the Republicrats from now on.

I am done with the Uniparty.

Is Rove really that stupid? That was a rhetorical question.

My rhetorical answer is "Yes".

Dictators like Rove do not care a whit if they leave their party with a defeat in the election and in a shambles from which it cannot ever recover.

MEMO TO PARTY: Control Rove and his ilk.

...”Trump can buy TV time and hold his own debate and invite whomever he pleases to participate.”...

Yes, let them hold their debate without Trump and let Trump hold his debate with the other candidates. Let’s see who has the most viewers. I wonder how many of the other candidates would participate if Trump was banned. That would be telling, now, wouldn’t it?

Correctness aside, the GOP has always had this option. Why now is it “breaking” news?

Thank you for marking this article as “clickbait”.

It is sad to see so many FReepers still swallowing whatever the liberals ejaculate in their effort to divide us.

If they do that, that will be the end of their Republican Party. And that’s not an exaggeration.

I agree. I have always suspected Karl Rove to be secret weapon of the democrats aimed to destroy the republican party.

Pick the states. Probably not 24, probably only 5 or 6.

Give soviet Red England to the Chinese...no one would notice the difference.

Can there be any doubt that the DC Cartel is aligned with the Global Cartels. From gun running to drug running to people running to nuclear weapon running. We have the biggest set of crooks running the nation and its two fake polotical parties in our history.

That worth reposting. And that ain't enough for these gluttons. They have an unlimited amount of tax payer money to steal. If the tax payers won't pay it, then they loan billions in our name to finance their scams. Reagan called it the gravy train.

At this point, more and more people are seeing Trump as a “Super Hero.” The young, it seems to me, are especially impressed. He looks like he could be a steam roller at this point because people are furious and livid at what has been happening in America, as the party of the destroyers, the Progressives, have taken a wrecking ball to all that is this country. The economy, immigration, drug addiction, anarchy, the war against Christians and the family, ISIS, the in-your-face refusal in government and our legal system to abide by our Constitution, elections which produce no results, etc., etc. are producing a giant roar from the silent majority, both Democrat and Republican..Independents, too. And, it looks as though the now reviled media cannot stop that wave of anger with it’s usual propaganda. Will the leftist slice of the 1% continue their iron grip on us and our future? We will see.

>>Is Rove really that stupid? That was a rhetorical question.

The GOP does not want to be in the White House, especially with majorities in both houses of Congress. They are starting to worry that Trump could win the nomination and then the presidency so they will introduce a poison pill to force him to go third party. Then they can blame the loss on Trump and go back to fundraising for 2020.

“That might have worked before the first debate. But the networks saw what he did for FAUX’s ratings. NOT ONE NETWORK would air a debate with out Trump at this point...Not even for Jeb.”

I doubt very seriously if they can keep him off the Republican ballot even if they keep him out of the debate. But since the debates are sponsored by a network not the party I don’t see how the party could keep him out.

An odd thought.
It looks like the best bet to beat DT is for him to say something completely outrageous on live TV. If Trump is not at the debate he can’t make those gaffs. Would Trump being forced out of the debates actually help him? If so, is Rove being sneaky and supporting DT superstitiously? I doubt Rove is that smart but it is theoretically possible

I will bet that Trump already has infrastructure ready to go independent. He plans ahead for all contingencies.

"d.) death of the GOP when Trump wins the general election."

Unless I have my wires crossed, both Rush and Mark Levin have noted their friends they talk too off the record have noted the fervor against the Uni-Party establishment(s) ( my words not theirs ) is so strong that a 3rd party could win this time.

Obviously those with pay grades higher than mine are discussing the 3rd party possibility as they see that it actually has a chance.

If the E-GOP metaphorically burns to the ground, than so be it, we rebuild it, or go our own way, either way I am shrugging with disinterest after all they have done or not done.

Why would he call it the “New Reagan-Republican Party” when he hated Reagan and called him a shyster?

First of all, you need to provide some verifiable evidence that Trump "hated" Reagan. Trump is on the record as saying that he liked Reagan and that it was mutual and reciprocated.

Furthermore, just like Reagan (who started out as a liberal Democrat supporting the New Deal and FDR), Trump's views have CHANGED and the fact that he has a bust of Reagan in his office speaks volumes.

In conclusion, it is the neo-cons like Bill Kristol and his widdle 'Weekly (Reader) Standard' who appear to be upset by Trump's lead in the polls. Trump has had good and bad things to say about nearly everyone at one point or another, that is because he speaks his mind, he doesn't hedge or equivocate, and some people just can't handle that.

The Republican party has been headed down suicide alley with illegal immigration being championed by the GOPe and Boner and McCommie selling out the whole country whenever possible.

Now they want to ban their strongest candidate?

GOPe has either got to just plain hate America as founded or are in bed with some very demanding donors.

If the GOPe is actually stupid enough to do this, they are then too stupid to run a country (I already think that they’re too self-entitled to do so, since they don’t mind advancing the left’s agenda as long as they stay in the game-they don’t care if they don’t win it), and I will vote for Trump third party and watch the GOPe go down in flames. If they would do this, voting for them wouldn’t help the country anyway, so might as well let the ‘rats get it over with quickly than prolong the agony with the GOPe anyway (and the way they’ve been voting/acting, they are right there with the ‘rats anyway). Amnesty will be the death of the US no matter which party forces it on us.
