Donald Trump has been drawing large crowds at events throughout the country, but his next event in Alabama could draw his largest gathering yet.
Trump is holding a Friday night "pep rally" in Mobile, Alabama, and because of increased expected attendance, a last minute venue change is taking place, the campaign said Thursday.

Please excuse me. I sincerely apologize. My intent wasn’t to insult. I don’t know what it like for a candidate to come to my area during primary season since PA never plays a role in selecting the Republican nominee. I just can’t imagine what it like to get so wound up about a candidate to see one in person. I watch them on TV and I read about them. I have even read Trump’s position on immigration on his website. How many people going to the rally in AL have done that?
The “Trump Stump Bump”
Bet he draws a lot of USN active duty and retirees from Pensacola.
Most Dems (and some Republicans) do not understand the mass Trump appeal, and those who do are very scared by it.
Hooah!
[ Does it worry anyone that Trump is establishing an almost cult following? This reminds me of the talks of crowds that Obama had when he first ran for President. I can think of plenty of other things to do on a friday night and still keep up with candidates, even if it just spending time with my family and posting on FR from my phone. (Doing that right now, actually) ]
It worries the hell out of me....
That being said, I am enjoying the whole “sauce fot he goose” aspect of it all...
i loves me a stampede in a china shop
[ Does it worry anyone that Trump is establishing an almost cult following?
Go with the flow ... This trains moving, you can get off after the election ... ]
The leftists grabbed the pendulum and swung it way the hell over to the left, we are possibly seeing the backlash wave from that action taken almost 8 years ago....
“Does it worry anyone that Trump is establishing an almost cult following? This reminds me of the talks of crowds that Obama had when he first ran for President.”
Would it worry you if Ted Cruz established an almost cult following? Would that remind you of the talks of crowds that Obama had when he first ran for President?
Or is it just Trump you’re worried about? Inquiring minds want to know.
Yep - You sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind ...
It’s great that he’s bringing it to the front. I have no problem with that at all. More power to him. Do you think people are going to keep this fervor up for a year ans 2 months?
They never have before.
If he wins, we certainly could do and have done worse. But that is a pretty low bar.
Trump has two very significant values.
If he stays in he will be elected because Hillary is all but out. Then Biden? Warren? The old Brooklyn socialist? Kerry? Herb Schnagelmeyer?
Trump would fire 1/2 of the paper shufflers in DC and reward performance, not “diversity.”
If he gets out, he will have driven all the other Republicans far to the right.
In either case, he is causing voters to listen to fact, not Dem BS. Example, the quickly crumbling support for the Iran nuke deal.
There you go. It sounds like you know the same folks I do.☺
The people who are frantic at Trump for speaking the truth are those who are living a lie.
We take our time. We evaluate. We have personal standards and measurements on issues we value.
We currently do not know enough about Trump to make a decision. Other candidates we do. They have a track record.
Caveat Emptor
That is not to say Trump isn't the right guy.
I would worry about any cult following, especially if it was for Linda Graham, Christie or Jeb Bush.
I hear her bathroom closet is now empty.
She should keep the orange jumpsuit though.
You may know it by initials,”WC” :)
Is 40000 enough seats? Lol.
Jed Bush?
Bush campaign slogan: Make America Mexico Again!
I get what you said— I don’t think it was an insult... I would really enjoy seeing Trump now in person and be part of the movement.. It’s kind of exciting and could potentially end at any time.. though I hope it sustains itself..
:)
I’ve been involved in politics since I was born practically. Conservatism runs in my families bloodline. My earliest political memory is seeing Barry Goldwater at a rally in a cornfield when I was 4 years old. That REALLY dates me. :)
Believe me, watching a candidate on TV or reading about them is not the same as seeing them in person. I have to believe the majority of the people going are as informed as you are. Making the effort to get out and see a candidate is much harder than staying in the comfort of your home. If you’re willing to get in a traffic jam, park, walk miles sometimes - the momentum is there. You should try it sometime if there is a venue in your area.
