I will attempt to help. We comment about the LIV - low information voters. Trump spent 16 years as a reality TV star with the Apprentice. Most of us probably never watched an episode. But millions of the LIV types did. And they like him.
Most Apprentice watchers fall into the never have paid attention to politics category. Most have never been in a voting booth. Those that have, voted based on hair style or 30 second sound bites. Now they want to vote for The Donald.
They will find out that there are two teams. The Donald is on the republican team. So they will vote down ticket for their team. Except for that McCain guy. The Donald said he is an idiot, so we vote for someone else.
The Donald's coattails are as wide as the wake behind his mega yacht. He has the power to toss GOP-e goons overboard in the primaries. Primaries that will be swung by Apprentice voters. New, never before seen in a voting booth voters.
The possibility to drain the swamp in DC is here. Trump is the right man, in the right place, at the right time.
Using history, fact, logic and past performance, any informed, thinking person wants Ted Cruz. But to a LIV fact and logic are beyond their comprehension. Fact and logic are MIA in this cycle. The LIV's will decide this. By the millions.
Does it worry anyone that Trump is establishing an almost cult following?
That being said, I am enjoying the whole "sauce for he goose" aspect of it all.
I am not a Trump supporter, but this has become my view. Trump is giving the Republican party a very needed enema.
The worst thing that could happen would be a situation where the Republicans lose to the Democrat next year. But I fear that would be the case if it was Clinton vs. Bush.
While some want a wounded Hillary in the race, I would rather Hillary be destroyed by the scandals, and every old, former loser (Lurch, Biden, Algore) get into the race and split the Democrat vote.
I would like to see Sanders maintain his momentum, and get the nomination, and force the Democrat party to have to support an open Marxist, dropping the veil once and for all.
