Hillary Clinton’s Bribery Scandal (Did she forward classified info for loot?)
Commentary Magazine ^ | 4/24/15 | Peter Wehner

Posted on 08/15/2015 1:29:35 PM PDT by Libloather

Earlier this week I referred to Hillary Clinton’s “tangle of corruption.” It turns out I was being generous.

As the politically explosive story in the New York Times demonstrates, the depths of the Clintons’ corruption and avarice is stunning. The facts in the Times story are utterly damning and prima facie evidence of a conflict of interest. If foreign governments, including adversarial ones like Russia, paid the Clinton Foundation and/or Bill Clinton huge sums of money, they assured themselves favorable treatment. (Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was pursuing the purchase of a Uranium One, a uranium mining company.) What we’re talking about looks very much like bribery, as former Governor Mitt Romney told Hugh Hewitt.

It’s worth placing this revelation in context: The Clintons have known for years that Hillary would run for president–and yet they still undertook this transparently unethical and potentially politically catastrophic action. The same is true of Mrs. Clinton’s deletion of 30,000 emails, another breathtakingly inappropriate, and possibly illegal, act. (It wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume that some of those deleted emails included a discussion of Uranium One, the company the Russians assumed control over.)

It’s so obvious only an idiot or a co-conspirator could deny it.

The war on Libya was known as “Hillary’s War” and reports strongly suggest that if not for her relentless push to get us into it, it would not have happened.

If she was paid by the Saudis or another foreign power to make it happen, this is a level of treason that goes beyond anything seen in the modern era.

The classified documents are nothing compared to the phony charity and the money laundering.

She’s going down. [Insert Huma Abedin joke here].

Donald Trump said recently the people who gave money to Clinton are not NICE people. Trump would be Hillary’s worst nightmare in this election. I bet Trump knows all the right people to expose the whole thing.

The FBI doesn’t want to know. They have been ordered to “do nothing” and take there good old time doing it.They should have charged her and taken the server in 2013. Holder earned his keep. That’s why he stayed longer than most other cabinet positions.

Standard requirement during the Clinton administration was to require $100,000.00 donation to their campaign just to “get in the door” ... even for legal and required federal business. The Indian tribe that wanted to talk to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (Dept of Interior)? $100,000.00 dollars to the Clintons.

I think you're both wrong.

According to The Swimmer (D-Edgartown), Bill Clinton said, "A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee", referring to "Obama". You can bet that ValJar wrote that down and put it in a safe.

"Obama", Michelle, and ValJar hate the Clintons, and they are not going to allow her to replace him in the White House.

She’s sold info to China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Libya (she gave them Steven’s whereabouts for 10 bucks!)and Iran. She makes Mao’s wife look like Loretta Young. Hope she one day appears in the dock like Mrs. Mao did.

“If this crap went on for more that 4 years and our cyber groups didn’t know all about this server set-up the entire bunch of them either 1) need to be fired or in jail for gross incompetence, or 2) need to be in jail for knowingly allowing this to occur. “

Let’s suppose you’re a secretary in a large corporation and you’re aware that the President is doing things that will damage the company. You suspect he’s actually sabotaging your company so another company will take its market share. All evidence indicates that everybody working for your company at the highest levels is in on the deal, whatever the deal is. What avenue do you have? Who can you tell? If you went public they’d ruin you and you know it. If you hunker down and collect your generous pay and benefits you know he’ll be out of office soon and you may still have your cushy job. If not, you’ll be no worse off than all the other employees (in this case, citizens.)

I worked in a company where top level people were doing unethical things. They’d established an ethics hotline, but guess who answered it. Lower level people in our government are just as powerless as non-officer level employees in a company. (Actually, in many companies even higher level officers can’t really change the company’s direction. Government is the same way. Elections have consequences.)

"Classified documents can't end up in someone's email account unless they've been cut and pasted from the original source. Once Hillary got them on her server, she would be free to click the 'forward' icon to transfer that information to someone else's private email account"

It way not have been that blatant.

It could just as easily have been translated.

They key: Was the INFORMATION classified? If so, who originated the communication?

Put them under the hot lights and interrogate, all the while reminding them it's 10 years for every count.

She would be, but as Mark Levin has pointed out, if it was by her gross negligence that classified info got exposed, that is a crime—and it is hard to argue that at best it was gross negligence to have her own server in her barn.

>> The classified documents are nothing compared to the phony charity and the money laundering <<

Gotta disagree. The “charity” and the money laundering are pretty much like old-fashioned political corruption. Extremely bad, but not a clear threat to national security.

On the other hand, her careless and irresponsible use of a private server — even on the dubious assumption that it relayed no “officially classified” documents — may have given the Russians, Chinese and Iranians certain information that could enable them to crack our most closely guarded codes.

As such, Hilary’s actions may eventually turn out to have much more severe impacts on our national security than did the collective activities of such noted betrayers as the Rosenbergs, John Walker, Bradley Manning, Jonathon Pollard, Robert Hanssen, Edwin Howard, Edward Snowden and Aldrich Ames. I can’t imagine that history will judge her kindly.

I agree there is no love lost between the Parties involved. My take is they would have the FBI(and other agencies) do a super thorough job on this Server/Foundation mess. They should have people working 24/7 to look into these problems. Instead they are dragging their feet as slowly as possible. Either BO & Co. are afraid of the Clinton retaliation or they want they money for themselves. Funny Bill and BO have golfed together the last two days. I think Bill would sell out Hillary if he gets to keep enough of the pay for Play money.

This isn't a private company and these people (all people in our government) swear an oath to the constitution. We have watch dog organization that are not tied to individual departments so what you say actually proven my point, disband them as the don't really provide the service we require. Actually your scenario is BS, these are individual government employees that have chosen to put the party affiliation above their jobs. Until we start holding the lower level people accountable we are in trouble and folks like Obama and Clinton will continue getting away with this crap.
