Game Change: Trump Consults with Sen Jeff Sessions on Immigration Strategy
Breitbart ^ | 08/14/2015 | Julia Hahn

Posted on 08/14/2015 8:19:19 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

In what may be the most important development in the 2016 Presidential race to date, Donald Trump has announced, and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) office has confirmed, that the GOP front-runner is consulting with the Alabama Senator in crafting his immigration plan for the future of America.

The real estate mogul’s announcement will send shock waves through Washington D.C. and all across primary states.

Trump, whose campaign has focused primarily on issues of immigration and trade, has seen a meteoric rise since entering the race, with throngs of supporters across the country rocketing him to the top of every single poll, despite an extraordinary effort of establishment Republicans to take him down. Republican pundits have lobbed every imaginable accusation at Trump. Yet these same pundits, while seemingly furious at the man, have demonstrated no similar concern, angst, or passion about the dissolution of our southern border, the rampant exploitation of guest-worker programs, the collapse of middle class wages, and the growing illegal immigrant crime wave.

And he and Dr Carson have had a relationship thrust their work with St Jude forever. BC said with a big smile the other night “oh he’s just a guy I know from the .....area!” on Cavuto interview.

Am suspecting a conspiracy to take this country back ;×)

I’m still with Cruz, but his poll numbers are anemic, at best; and they have been that way all through the process.

Trump is smart enough to know that he is not the smartest man in the room. (unlike the present POTUS)

Couldn’t be said any better.

What amazes me is Trump knowing, or being advised to get to know, Jeff Sessions.

I know that I would be really impressed to learn that Trump has actually been following the great patriot, Jeff Sessions, and all of his pain staking work, research and statistics, documentation and congressional arguments on the subject of our ongoing illegal alien invasion.

If not Trump himself, then some astute individual is steering him in the absolute and right direction for resource and facts.

Just great news.

A very smart move by Trump; I’m liking this. Thanks for your kind comments on Sen. Sessions. I began voting in ‘92 & Sessions is the only candidate that I have voted for with pride.

Go Trump, Go Cruz & Go Sessions:)

This is what successful executives do: they surround themselves with the best, most able, people for every aspect of the job that needs to get done. Jeff Sessions is my #1 favorite senator, and has been for a long time.

Check out sundance’s stuff at conservative treehouse. The table is already set for a Jebito nomination. If not him, one of his clones. The media, the current government, and the two political parties are in utter agreement on that.

I can summarize: the fix is in. As it always has been. The uniparty has been in control since the late 19th century. There is a reason: they’re very, very good at it.

Frankly, I don’t think even the Donald can pull it off. And hence, am making my November 2016 Vacation plans. If he can’t do it, then how are the other candidates without his resources going to do so?

Incoherent by virtue of few details, but I'm reminded of the litigious effort a Chicago newspaper made to prove Henry Ford ignorant. Ford was challenged with questions concerning historical facts and numbers, but eventually, Ford had enough. His response:

“If I should really WANT to answer the foolish question you have just asked, or any of the other questions you have been asking me, let me remind you that I have a row of electric push-buttons on my desk, and by pushing the right button, I can summon to my aid men who can answer ANY question I desire to ask concerning the business to which I am devoting most of my efforts. Now, will you kindly tell me, WHY I should clutter up my mind with general knowledge, for the purpose of being able to answer questions, when I have men around me who can supply any knowledge I require?”

Conservative? What exactly is that these days? I’d be happy with an American nationalist.

Cruz is my favorite and I donate to him but I wonder how effective he would be if elected considering all that he would be up against.

The establishment uniparty in both houses of congress hate him and the media would never leave him alone.

I am afraid they would all gang up on him to make sure he couldn’t succeed.

Trump, on the other hand, has already shown he can handle the media and he would use his bully pulpit to the fullest extent.

Trump could get away with saying things that no one else could, including Cruz, because they expect Trump to attack.

OMG I didn’t heard that. Wow now you got me so excited LOL. I haven’t been so excited since I got lost in the Dallas Fort Worth Airport LOL.

It is a blessing if that is the case. I mean if the establishment can have their mafia ring. Why not patriots to over throw them. I like to believe there are patriots working within our government just waiting.

It is important insight into what conservatism could be.

Read it a few times awhile back, think it was from link here at FR ...maybe from you.

When Trump's numbers decelerate, appear to top and even to descend, Trump supporters dismiss the data and attack the integrity of the pollsters. When Trump's numbers appear robust, Trump supporters proclaim the polls from the rooftops.

My belief is that Trump's numbers are as I predicted, and Krauthammer also believes, he has topped out at about 20% + -2% or 3%. Ted Cruz has shown improvement after the last debate and he is daily announcing staff operations in various states. He is in a good post position long before we turn the final pole and go into the home stretch.

But I would be less than honest if I did not concede that I would be much happier Cruz's numbers were more robust and I wish he excited more numbers out on the stump.

We are so far away from the real tests to concede the election based on polls which Larry Sabato (another observer who is trashed because he made predictions against Trump) tells us are too soon in the game to be meaningful. These experts are looking at Trump's negatives and concluding that he will not be nominated.

If I look at how the numbers so rapidly deteriorated for Walker and accelerated for Carly Fiorino and Ben Carson, I conclude that the data is simply too volatile and we ought to proceed with the primary season and have votes.
