Monday on AM 970’s “The Joe Piscopo Show,” pollster Frank Luntz suggested that since Republican presidential candidate and longtime Clinton friend Donald Trump refused to say he would endorse whoever got the Republican party nomination, it is a real “possibility” Trump is planning a third party run. This, as host Joe Piscopo pointed out, would allow Hillary to “walk right in” to the presidency and be an astonishing historical repeat, because Ross Perot’s third party candidacy is credited for President Bill Clinton’s victory over President George H.W. Bush in 1992.

That would suck, as it would guarantee a Dem victory.
A Jeb Bush candidacy would do the same.
If Yeb! gets the nomination, the Dems have already won.
So, if Cruz wins the nomination, and Trump is supposedly such good friends with Ted, would he still run 3rd Party?
Not sure, just wondering.
That’s the next stage, after he’s finished throwing hand grenades while a “Republican,” he’ll decide to set about the “serious” work of getting his very close friend Hillary Clinton elected.
Get Trump to run as a DEMONCRAT!
After the hush-hush meeting Cruz had with Trump, the thought came to me that maybe Cruz is saying be my running partner as a 3rd party ticket. Just a thought.
One very key reason why Trump should never be trusted. It all comes down to business... his besties the Clintons will take care of him after Inauguration.
This is total BS. Scare talk. Trump likes to play with people. He leaves it unsaid to mess with Luntz’s mind and the GOPe in case they try to keep him out of the debates. Trump has repeatedly said that he is running as a Republican. He also said he would know when to get out if he saw he had no chance.
This one is easy to figure out.
The Texas R primary entry deadline is Nov 14 2015.
If Trump runs there, I’ve been told the sore loser law prevents him from running as an independent.
NO R or I candidate can win POTUS without Texas.
If Cruz does NOT get the nod, and Trump runs 3rd party, I and many like me will vote Trump. It really is Cruz or lose, folks. Vote whoever you want, but keep in mind, if Cruz ain’t the one out front in 2016, you might as well get ready for Hitlery.
If Trump goes 3P, I’ll just have to write-in Cruz. Either way, a vote for Trump or write-in for Cruz, Hillary! (tm) wins.

Garbage talk from Luntz trying to cause dissension and grief within the ranks. Trump is not going to play all his cards at one time (no pun intended) and say no. Of course he’ll hang that option out there for leverage. Or, maybe he’ll just say P_ss on the GOPe and do it and prove them wrong and win the election as a 3rd party candidate? Just because it didn’t work in 1992, doesn’t mean it can’t work today.
Trump denied that last night.

I don't think Cruz would screw the country like that... as for Trump, if the price is right, I have no doubt he'd do it in a heartbeat.
Frank Luntz has no credibility. He has a bone in his throat about Trump.
