maybe Cruz is saying be my running partner as a 3rd party ticket I don't think Cruz would screw the country like that... as for Trump, if the price is right, I have no doubt he'd do it in a heartbeat.

You’re probably right. And Luntz is probably full of it, but my thinking is that Cruz may see the Republican party as too corrupt/GOP-E and sees that Jeb is the chosen one among the elite party bosses.
