It's meant to illustrate that many people back then thought Donald Trump was a joke and would have settled for a Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio - which would have resulted in President Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump has been serious about running for president since at least 1980. We are now witnessing a very historical time in our nation's history.

It's a life lesson for us all. So many Freepers thought Trump was a decoy for Hillary Clinton and would be the ruination of the Republican party.

It will be another 50 years or so before the final verdict is in but I feel that we are living in historical times that future generations will view as the time that the United States of America was saved. Much like we see Abraham Lincoln's era today.

Also, half the country hated Abraham Lincoln as much as they hate Donald Trump today. Fortunately I'm sure that Trump will have much better protection should he decide to take in a play.
