Real ‘Possibility’ Trump Runs as a Third Party Candidate
Breitbart.com ^ | July 20 2015 | Pam Key

Posted on 07/21/2015 11:05:17 AM PDT by Coronal

Monday on AM 970’s “The Joe Piscopo Show,” pollster Frank Luntz suggested that since Republican presidential candidate and longtime Clinton friend Donald Trump refused to say he would endorse whoever got the Republican party nomination, it is a real “possibility” Trump is planning a third party run. This, as host Joe Piscopo pointed out, would allow Hillary to “walk right in” to the presidency and be an astonishing historical repeat, because Ross Perot’s third party candidacy is credited for President Bill Clinton’s victory over President George H.W. Bush in 1992.

What does Bush have except name recognition?

Dough from the elites. Hedging both sides of the Hillary / Republican contest, at least my view.

I think Trump is being bullied by the Establishment using Third Party against him and he won’t bite.

Instead, he reverses the threat.

BRILLIANT!

Trump knows the risk of a Republican loss if there is a Third Party in the General Election. He has said so and I heard him.

So, by not caving to the idea of a Third Party he makes the Establishment understand that if he can pull this campaign off then the Establishment has an offer they can’t refuse. They either stop trying to kill him and his campaign off and join him for the win, or otherwise the GOP will be seen as showing the world they would rather lose to Hillary than see a conservative nominee.

That's like blaming the victim of brutal relentless beatings if they refuse continued support the perpetrator.

I have no idea WTF you're talking about. Have you stopped beating your wife yet? FU! Prick. We were starting a reasonable discussion but you want to be a Gdamn asshole

You seem angry agitated and quite hysterical.

Let me explain to you once again.

The Republican party is a bad joke, a massive betrayal. This is no secret and they've lost thousands of people who tired of their endless corruption. Where ya been?

I gave you several analogies of battered voter syndrome. It's very similar to husbands who beat their wives and break their spirits and still expect them to remain faithful.

Still no clue what I'm saying? Then ya better run back to the moderator and cry the blues again. Maybe they can help you.

If there is anybody who would not be afraid of Hillary it would be Trump. If they throw mud on Trump, he will have plenty of mud to throw back on Hillary. She can go into a fake Victorian lady swoon but that won’t stop him. Trump is a much better talker than she is. If Bill Clinton comes into it to defend his wife, Trump would have a party tearing into the two of them. Popcorn please.

Yep he’s no conservative. It’d be hard to even say what kind of Supreme Court Justice he’d appoint. Or what kind of appointments he’d make to any position.

But his fight against the media is IMO the most important event in politics in decades- since Reagan’s election. It benefits conservatives, and the country, tremendously.

The first debate should tell us more about him and his intent.

The Democrats are practically Maoists.

Trump has attacked the sanctuary city policy which is a Democrat policy. They are turning purple trying to defend this. I have known about sanctuary cities for over twenty years which is why I say you go Donald, but most of the American voters haven’t. This is such a scandal for the Democrats you could not believe. The whole country is talking about it. If anything can wake up the country it is this. Illegal immigration has been supported by both the Democrats and the rinos. If Trump is trying to make some deal for himself it would seem that he has burnt his bridges behind him. How can he use illegal immigration as an issue to curry favor with the Democrat or rinos in order to expand his business empire? I think he is his own man.

Why should he want to have an in with the president when he can be the president himself? He wants the number one spot.

Does she mean it, or is it more a matter of relating to an art-style that worked before?

But, if the establishment forces him out but not Cruz, and Cruz is the nominee, would Trump run 3rd party?

Remember those old Errol Flynn movies when he would play Robin Hood and he would be having a sword fight with TWO VILLIANS at the same time? This is how it would be with Trump as a third party candidate. He would skewer both Hillary and the Republican at the same time. Teeheehee ;^)

He’s all about the deal but he is stepping on a lot of toes in both parties. Maybe he is sick and tired about making the deal with corrupt politicians. Maybe he is something like Sampson taking down the pagan temple. I know I maybe projecting but it is a possibility.

If Cruz wins nomination, Trump will not run 3rd party.
If Carson wins, also less likely 3rd party.

If Bush or Rubio or Perry or Huckabee, almost certain 3rd Party because they all want pathway to citizenship.

I do not know how Trump really feels about Walker.
