MSNBC’s “Hardball” host Chris Matthews said that Democrats don’t want to enforce laws on illegal hiring because they “want votes” and that the GOP won’t do so because “they want cheap labor” on Tuesday.

That’s what we call a “random act of journalism”.

Jeb’s (among other Republicans and the WSJ) sponsors want cheap labor. But not all Republicans. Dems want illegals to vote. What Matthews said is true about Democrats, even though it was probably an accidental candid admission.

I can only recognize that he was correct in this instance.

I cannot bring myself to use his name and the word "right" in the same sentence. If I did, it would occasion the infinitesimal chance that he would capitalize on it to demonstrate how "fair and balanced" (vis-à-vis "the left") he is.

And Matthews would be the 1st to condemn us as Loonies or much much worse when we know him and both parties are sticking it in our gizzard's on a daily basis? And he wonders why we are cynical? And he wonders why we think the entire beltway might as well be a cesspool? The worst part is he knows all the truth, but can't or won't say it ( or when he slips up like this) or will not stop it and wants more statism.
