The editorial board of PennLive/The Patriot-News in Harrisburg, Pa. is taking a hardcore stance against those who disagree with the Supreme Court ruling to legalize gay marriage.
“As a result of Friday’s ruling, PennLive/The Patriot-News will no longer accept, nor will it print, op-Eds and letters to the editor in opposition to same-sex marriage,” they declared.
After receiving strong pushback, the newspaper’s editorial board, which is overseen by Editorial Page Editor John Micek, quickly revised its policy. Freedom of speech will be allowed — but only for a “limited” period of time.
Micek explained on Twitter: “Clarification: We will not foreclose discussion of the high court’s decision, but arguments that gay marriage is wrong/unnatural are out.”
Before that, there was this: “From the edit: ‘PL/PN will no longer accept, nor will it print, op-Eds and letters to the editor in opposition to same-sex marriage.’ …This is not hard: We would not print racist, sexist or anti-Semitc letters. To that, we add homophobic ones. Pretty simple.”

Not every pro-heterosexual is religious. This isn't a Christian thing. The vileness of homosexuality affects a heck of a lot more than just Christians. People of all beliefs, races, and sexes are puking today and wondering how this abomination was allowed to happened.
Today’s ruling is sets up an attack on freedom of religion and the First Amendment.
Churches currently use 501(c)(3) under the tax code to be tax exempt. However, under the clear text of the First Amendment, part of which says “Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise thereof” the IRS has never had the ability to tax churches nor the ability to determine the tax standing of a church. The 501(c)(3) designation is a way for the IRS to avoid a court battle they should lose.
However, now that gay marriage is a “right” (God’s law aside, it is not a “right” because rights cannot be conferred, only affirmed and the court just conferred a right) if a church tries to avoid marrying a homosexual couple, a church will not only be hit with a lawsuit, their tax exempt status will be in jeopardy.
What will also flow from this is an outright attack on freedom of speech as Christianity, which is and should be opposed to the homosexual lifestyle, will be determined as engaging in “hate speech” and laws will be passed trying to curtail certain kinds of speech.
Chief Justice John Roberts, in his Obamacare ruling yesterday, used “intent” rather than the clear text of the law to justify allowing Obamacare to stand.
If the Supreme Court is willing to look at intent rather than black letter of the law, then the law no longer has any meaning. This does not bode well for the First Amendment.
For the record, I think nation wide the numbers are 1 to 2 gay people every 100 or maybe it's 1000? However, when you look at SCOTUS.
You have almost 1/2 the Judges are closet gays. Why is that? Perhaps so they can be blackmailed?

Our nation, is already cursed, the rioting, the excessive lawsuits for “hurt feelings” are already here. And our nation is in such absurd debt that there’s no way to pay it off. There’s also likely never going to be a surplus government budget again. California’s allowing endless growth has pretty much put it on a death course where they run out of water. There’s more I could say, but like it says in Revelation, they only cursed God more for their unpleasant situation.

Even though Gruber was absolutely clear that the wording was INTENDED to force states to create exchanges; that no state would get Fed subsidies without creating their own exchange........I think Roberts should be checked for schizophrenia. His ‘logic’ today with the trashing of the word ‘marriage’ is exactly the opposite of his justification for saving Obamacare yesterday.

But this decision will take it up a notch, IMHO. They have placed this nation at enmity with The Creator.
