WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court ruled that the Constitution provides same-sex couples the right to marry in a historic triumph for gay rights.

Justice Anthony Kennedy, writing on behalf of the court, said that the hope of gay people intending to marry "is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization's oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right."

So now any pastor or priest who will not perform a gay marriage is a criminal. I expect that we’ll hear that any such church will lose tax-exempt status, to bring them in line without jailing anyone yet.

While some churches have, or claim to have, prophets, very few have profits. Most churches should have expenses equal to or greater than their income. Virtually everything they spend their money on is or should be deductible (at least until the Gaystapo re-writes the Internal Revenue Code), thus they would not have a TAXABLE income. Some churches may even be able to apply for special government freebies that they could not do as an exempt organization. When life gives you lemons make lemonade.

- If you are white
- If you are male (or a female who denies feminist teaching)
- If you are straight
- If you do not believe global warming is an issue
- If you have enough money to be ok

Situations where the letter of the law does not matter:

- If you are black, hispanic or some other racial minority
- If you are female (and a feminist)
- If you are gay
- If you believe in global warming
- If you have enough money to buy power/decisions in your favor

This is not a complete list but they are clearly true.
