Black Chamber of Commerce: EPA Clean Air Plan Will Increase Black Poverty 23%, Strip .. Black Jobs
CNS News ^ | June 24, 2015 | Ali Meyer

A study commissioned by the National Black Chamber of Commerce, which represents 2.1 million black-owned businesses in the United States, found that the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean Power Plan would increase black poverty by 23 percent and cause the loss of 7 million jobs for black Americans by 2035.

The study also found that the EPA' plan would increase Hispanic poverty by 26 percent and cause the loss of 12 million jobs for Hispanic Americans by 2035.

The EPA proposed the Clean Power Plan on June 2, 2014 to cut carbon emissions from power plants.

...

There was a time when your greatest obstacle was your competitor, but if you worked hard, took care of your customers and offered quality merchandise at a fair price, you could compete successfully,” the letter stated. “Unfortunately, that is now not the case… The largest impediment we have to operating our business successfully is our own government, particularly the EPA. The rulings issued by the EPA have devastated our regional economy.

Coal provided 96 percent of West Virginia’s electricity last year. West Virginia has among the lowest electricity prices in the nation: last year, the average price was 27 percent below the national average,” said Capito. “But that advantage will not survive this administration’s policies. Studies have projected the Clean Power Plan will raise electricity prices in West Virginia by between 12 and 16 percent.”

“Put simply, there is no way that this massive, largely EPA-driven reduction in coal fired electricity generation is going to impact only coal states. It’s going to impact the majority of states, and the families and businesses within them. Often, the poorest and most vulnerable populations will bear the brunt of this increase

The “WHITE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE” are all for this new law. When are these black Americans realize that they are being replaced by illegal Hispanics. These illegal Hispanics are more maleable that the black Americans. The democratic party has given up on the black Americans. When the black Americans give up on these democrats and go back to the republican party, the CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

An interest group of any kind is choosing not to be American?

Sounds like a big fat strawman to me.

National Black Chamber of Commerce? Why segregate an organziation based on race? The left wing nuts jobs attack the TEA Party calling it racist (that represents all Americans regardless of race) because not enough black folk have joined it. Here is another raciest organization giving preferential treatment based on race.
End Segregation!

"CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY."

No such party exists. The republican party is owned and operated by country club establishment types who view anyone with actual constitutionalist/conservative principles in the same light as the democrats view black folks, just another voting block that'll fall in line election after election to pick their lesser of two evils.

I'm afraid we'll eventually be the ones crying.

The black chamber of commerce will simply cite the racism inherent in society as the cause, seek compensation from Uncle Sam, which will be provided at the expense of the rest of us - blacks, environmentalists, fat assed bureaucrats at EPA, media; everyone's happy except us.

They do not care about blacks.

Thus , the regressive socialists are pretending to worry about a battle flag = never letting a crisis go to waste.

"And what pray tell did the National White Chamber of Commerce have to say about the matter?"

The final rule hasn't been written so the BCC or the WCC doesn't know what it says.

After the draft regs were published last June, 12 coal states and a coal company sued but the court shut them down for that reason.

Eventually the rule will be published(Aug), and there will probably be lawsuits, and the BCC and WCC can join in, and eventually SCOTUS will rule on it.

That's the way the system works.

And why is the environmental movement so overwhelmingly WHITE? Other than the occasional "organic" farmer's markets that pop up in Harlem, Newark, Oakland, etc. which are patronized mainly by White yuppies from surrounding gentrified neighborhoods who make it their business to high-tail it out of there by nightfall (sundown towns?). Let's get real, when was the last time a "Brother" saved a whale? Or a "Sister" saved a polar bear? 0bama? Sure, only because he owes the eco groups big time. The WWF, Friends of the Earth, Sierra Club, may as well be "Whites only" clubs. I've seen more diversity at a NASCAR race.

Those lefty groups you mentioned may not draw the interest of most black folk, but they can join... same with the TEA party.

I was speaking of groups that by their very charter they exist only to serve one specific race. You would have to pretend to be black like Rachel Dolezal to be a NAACP chapter president.
