What do these US military bases have in common? They are all named for Confederate generals. Theres been talk for years about whether this is appropriate, and now in wake of Charleston and the South Carolina Confederate flag, its coming up again.

No and I am getting fed up with this nonsense.
Oh for God’s sake would they grow up already?
Getting?
The way the stupid question is worded I am surprised people aren’t voting the wrong way and not knowing it.
FReeped...
As a resident of Forrest County, Mississippi, I voted “no”!!
No and BTTT
No they should not, but it will eventually be done. Every school, every ship, every park, every municipal building, every college dormitory, and every street will be renamed. Furthermore, everything named after a slave owning founding father will be changed, and every statue and monument to them destroyed or removed. The left is erasing our history, destroying our churches, and every element of American culture. It is attempting to completely wash the Earth clean of what America was, is, or has ever stood for. The left is poisoning the minds of our youth through the educational system and turning them against America. The left will never stop until the very idea and thought that the United States of America ever existed is erased. The American left is the ISIS within the United States. According to the left, “every knee must bow” to the state or be destroyed.
They will name bases after people like Bowe Bergdahl and Edward Snowden.
Let’s change everything?
Where does it stop?
I’m assuming Mitch McConnell is endorsing the destruction of ancient and historic sites, statues, icons, artwork etc. by ISIS.
- Winston Churchill
A nation that forgets its past is doomed
ethnic cleansing
I’m for embracing all of our history. In terms of sports teams, the fighting spirit of the Indian tribes is well represented and that’s a good thing. The other side wants to pit us against each other. Our side should be for bringing us together.
