What do these US military bases have in common? They are all named for Confederate generals. Theres been talk for years about whether this is appropriate, and now in wake of Charleston and the South Carolina Confederate flag, its coming up again.

No.
This PC crap is getting way out of hand.
No way. Naming the bases that way is just one way the U.S. military can atone for its vicious aggression against the sovereign states of the Confederacy.
87% ‘No’ as of now.
No. The idea is absurd, just like the nonsense of removing the Confederate flag from everything.
- - -in the spirit of “let’s all get along”-—maybe it is
time to take the word “black” out of the “congressional xxxxxx caucus” and when the “C” flag comes down and is removed from history maybe it is time that the “C” comes out
of the NAA_P! Maybe it could be replaced by the NAAA(ALL)P.
How does that sound?????
It’s the media and lib/RINO politicians testing the waters before the make a move on the 2nd amendment. This is all a test to see what they can get away with. A few days age Karl Rove openly declared the 2nd amendment should be repealed. These jackasses are going to find a full blown rebellion on their hands.

I’m pretty sure every one of the men listed was also a U.S. Army officer at some time.
As I said in another thread -
Humanist worldview demands that every positive reference to people or ideas of the past be eliminated in favor of the present day intellectuals’ vision.
I’m with US Grant. When he was asked, at Appomattox, how to treat the Confederate soldiers, he said, “as your countrymen.” I think this rule should apply to the great Indian warriors. Let’s have some military installations named after Tecumseh, Geronimo, Sitting Bull and Chief Joseph.
There are people getting paid, rather well, with our taxpayer dollars, wasting time with such unimportant matters as this one.
Why are we making a big deal about the symbols of the Confederacy 150 years after they lost?
This punk-murderer used the symbols as a form of revolt and hatred, yes but he is a sicko who deserves to be hung.
Does this now mean we should BAN all forms of freedom of expression?
I am a Yankee who thinks those who cling to the South have the AMERICAN right to do so so- knock it off already and stop the South-Bashing.
NO, it's not "coming up again". I detest the cowardly leftist use of the passive voice. They do it to obfuscate their own personal responsibility for all the evil that they do.
Racist jackasses are deliberately, with malice aforethought, BRINGING UP the Confederate named Army posts, for the purpose of destroying American history.
It's definitely time to get the "Negro" out of the United Negro College Fund ... make it the United ALL PEOPLE College Fund. Discrimination is wrong.
Or so I am told ...
So, don’t name any sports teams after Indians, but name military posts after Indians?
Silent rebellion already underway .....

“The group said that estimates have showed that there about 1 million assault weapons in New York, so if thats the case, about 4 percent were registered as required under the SAFE Act.”
No, because they will end up being renamed after Margaret Sanger, Cesar Chavez, Malcolm X, etc.
