Anyone willing to support Perry is someone who hasn’t paid attention, at all, to what he did while in office.

This man rediscovers conservative values every time he runs for re-election, and the dupes in Texas bought it every - single - time.

Not just no, but hell no.

Good luck to Perry as he seemed to do a fine job as governor of Texas. However, I think his verbal “goof” in the 2012 debates will kill his chances which is a shame. The media would eat him alive all while supporting the crook Clinton.

Perry and the Bush family do not get along. Never have. He’s not part of any RINO conspiracy to give Jeb anything, including the time of day.

I doubt Perry has a snowball’s chance in Hades of getting the nomination but he’s certainly not in the race to help Bush.

****

Perry is a populist, not a conservative.

Verbal goof in 2012? What about is “verbal goof” less than 1 year ago? (see my tagline)

I doubt Perry has a snowball’s chance in Hades of getting the nomination but he’s certainly not in the race to help Bush.

But if he takes votes from Ted Cruz in the primary that is what he will do.

I thought people here were smart enough to realize what’s going on, and also easily recognize a tard.

They do, they just don't care.

The Perry supporters on FR remained conspicuously silent when he endorsed RINO Mitch McConnell for reelection.

The remained mostly silent when he said Hillary was a “very, very capable public servant" and a "Great Secretary of State".

But they will gladly crawl out from wherever they hide when it is time to support his next failed candidacy. My guess is some or all of them may be on the clock. Either that, or they are closet liberals who share Perry's love for ILLEGAL aliens and most things liberal.

I’m a Canadian, but I want my southern neighbors to be constitution loving, God fearing Americans, is that too much to damn well ask for?

I’m so frustrated, we are at war, and nobody except the bad guys are fighting.

>> Perry and the Bush family do not get along. Never have. <<

News to both sides:

Jeb: My family admires Perry:
I’ve never heard anybody in my family say anything but good things about Rick Perry. Not with my brother, my dad. Not with me at all. I admire him.
And I think Texas has got a great story and he can legitimately talk about that story as a candidate for president.”
— Jeb Bush stated in an 2011 interview with Neil Cavuto on the Fox News Channel, saying he was grateful to get the opportunity to set the record straight.

Perry on his predecessor: ‘I love George Bush’”
“I love George Bush. I think he’s a great President and I support him.”
Perry insisted there’s no bad blood with the man he replaced:
“Not from my perspective. And certainly not between George W. Bush and I”

Here are the hopefuls, by party, some have declared, there may be some I've forgotten to list, I've boldfaced my two (and only two) favorites and put strikes through the unacceptable candidates (that could grow):
Pubbies (six declared, two to four more within a couple of weeks):
  • Ben Carson [declared]
  • Bobby Jindal (gov of LA)
  • Carly Fiorina [declared]
  • Chris Christie (gov of NJ)
  • Donald Trump
  • George Pataki
  • Jeb Bush
  • John Kasich (gov of OH)
  • Lindsey Graham [declared]
  • Marco Rubio [declared]
  • Mike Huckabee [declared]
  • Peter King
  • Rick Perry [declared]
  • Rick Santorum
  • Sarah Palin
  • Scott Walker
  • Ted Cruz [declared]
other possible candidates:
  • Brian Sandoval
  • Jim Gilmore
  • Kelly Ayotte
  • Mike Pence
  • Mitch Daniels
  • Nikki Haley (gov of SC)
  • Susana Martinez (gov of NM)
Here are some combos that make sense to me at this time:
  • Ted Cruz, with running mate Donald Trump
  • Ted Cruz, with running mate Carly Fiorina
  • Ted Cruz, with running mate John Kasich
  • Ted Cruz, with running mate Peter King
  • Ted Cruz, with running mate Ben Carson
  • Ted Cruz, with running mate Mike Huckabee
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Susana Martinez
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Marco Rubio
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Brian Sandoval
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Ben Carson
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Nikki Haley
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Carly Fiorina
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Kelly Ayotte
  • Scott Walker, with running mate Peter King
Demwits (3 declared, rest possible or probable):
  • Bernie Sanders (I-VT) [declared]
  • Bill A.K.A. DeBlasio
  • Elizabeth Warren
  • Hillary Clinton [declared]
  • Martin O'Malley
  • Rand Paul [declared]
other possible candidates:
  • Amy Klobuchar
  • Andrew Cuomo

He was my governor. I wouldn't vote for him for anything. He's a liberal, not a conservative.

My then teenage daughters didn't need inoculations for STDs. That's the reality of what he did.

Nope. No vote from me for Perry.

“Perry’s ONLY PURPOSE is to dilute the votes for conservatives, so an “ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN” will outlast the other candidates.”

He has the duo of Austin and Henry Barbour, Haley Barbour’s nephews, working for him, they are very good at dirty tricks and character assassination against Conservatives. I don’t trust any candidate that would have them in their campaign.
