Apparently we can’t do better judging from past performance.

Perry is Bush w/o the brains. Yes, without the brains. Bush was smart enough to get elected. Governor Mumbles never will because he lacks the intellect.

BULL !
No he doesn't !
If Perry "loved this country" he'd stand up AGAINST THOSE WHO BROKE THE LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY BY THE WAY THEY ENTERED IT !
Only IDIOTS would trust the CHARLATAN PERRY will all the CRAP he's spouting!
He's just another in a long line of con-artists that's helping to elect another "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN" who'll fund everything the DemocRATS want !

We can STOP AMNESTY as long as we keep fighting it, and NEVER SURRENDER TO IT !
But with WEAK-GUTTED VOTERS LIKE YOU GIVING UP, it has a SLIGHT CHANCE .

HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET ?

I like him. But read all the posts in this thread and you will see why Hillary will probably win the presidency.

Throwing in the towel and accepting amnesty is pretty damned stupid. Apparently the phrase "don't give up without a fight" means nothing to some. I plan to fight any and all who try to impose an unwanted amnesty, and that includes ALL Republicans. Shame not all "conservatives" feel the same way.

Do you really believe voters are going to stop this ? Seriously? By whom when they're all on board for this...it's not about giving up...it's about the facts and reality that the global agenda is moving along and there are no poweers bucking it

Amnesty is going to happen like it or not....it's already out the gate and running

Unfortunately we’ll be faced with whomever comes ahead of the pack or Hillary.....regardless of our chosen man of the hour currently.

So with that in mind I want to see the best rise to the top among Republicans. So I consider the possibility my favorite might not be among....it’s just good to have backups just in case this goes other than what we might ope for otherwise.

I have listened to speeches from every GOP candidate declared or not in the top 20. I have not heard one word of any kind stating that they want to stop amnesty. Not one. I have heard common sense approaches to fixing the problem, but no one has said send all 12 million back to where they came from.
If that is what some of the people on this board are waiting for, then no candidate is going to make them happy, and Hillary will be president.
What I am waiting to hear, before any discussion of what to do with the ones that are here, is how to stop more from coming. I want to here one candidate say “We are going to lock the southern border like a bank vault.
Rick Perry came close to that today in his speech, so his value came up. Also found out in 2008 he was coming off back surgery, and still pretty heavily medicated. He himself says he shouldn’t have taken on the campaign under those circumstances. I’ll give him a pass on the goofs.
I also believe you never quit learning. Rubio said today the reason he walked back his stance on immigration was he heard from the American people who said fix one issue at a time. First is secure the border, period. If he’s being truthful, and I have no reason not to believe him, it means he hears us.
I like Cruz, and Paul, but I haven’t heard either one say anything about stopping the flood of criminals (terrorists) coming across the southern border. Until I do...my attitude is we’ll see. It’s still too early to get apoplectic about any of them yet (except Trump, I hope he trips going to the podium and breaks his jaw so he can’t announce. ;) )

It will be interesting to see how Governor Mumble's jumping into the race affects the polls. He is currently behind Donald Trump. That may change, but we'll see.

It is a BIG hat to toss inthe ring, hopefully it will crush some of the small time schmucks that have decided to run and chase them away.

Bad part is it could evoke the whole "We don't need two peopel from Texas running" (Perry and Cruz) as a way to "kick' Cruz out of the running....

"And, military experience."

You're right about that. The only other GOP candidate with military experience is Lindsay Graham who was a JAG Officer.

[ Nobodys perfect, he wouldn’t be my first choice but is a hell of a lot better than Jeb or Christie. ]

On a scale of suck to 10, Jeb and christie are SUCK, and Perry is a 5-6.

Cruz is a 9!

If that was the only thing, I wouldn't throw him out either., but he's a liberal, and not conservative. His position on illegal aliens, socialized medicine, bigger government, etc.. lock him out for me.

I have an agenda and a real conservative to vote for, volunteer for, and to send real money to.

And that is Cruz.
