Hence, there can be non-criminal "biker gangs", in the sense of people who enjoy hanging out together.

Then again, he HAS been bumping the thread, to the point where every FReeper has seen it. Gater seems to have as big a "thing" about motorcycle riders (and, fair disclosure, I used to be one in my younger days) as certain other freepers have about Mormons or Catholics.

They won't do that, because a vocal segment of this supposed 99% actually support the gangsters. No decent person would try to portray Bandidos and Hell's Angels as all-round decent guys who (purely by coincidence) have had a few bad apples among them.
