The next POTUS will either have to redo all the numbers, or continue the lies.

“The BLS also said Friday that employers added just 85,000 jobs in March, down from the original 126,000 estimate.”

It ignores the folks who lost their $120k job and after two years of looking finally settled on a $65k job.

The MSM is reporting this as 'great news and a sign that we've recovered from the slow growth in Q1' that they neglected to report.

They've really taken the 'its the economy stupid' thing seriously and are lying so fast and furious to prop up progressive government now I doubt anything can redeem them, short blowing up the NTY and building a new press service from scratch.

330 million population. 93 million people of working age out of work. 5.4% unemployment. That must be the new common core math. :-)

Here in southern California, home prices (in today's dollars) have quadrupled since 1960 yet incomes have remained stagnant. Rents are sky high. Young college graduates are struggling to find jobs with decent incomes, and are often faced with crushing student loan debt.
Part-time jobs (flipping burgers, etc) abound but without health benefits. Many long-term unemployed have stopped looking for work and have moved in with family or friends because they're broke. People are retiring early and taking Social Security at 62 because they have no money.
The majority of Americans over 50 have very little money, if any, saved for retirement.

Let the media talk about the economic reality. It's not pretty.

Well, this tells me one thing — There is a DEMAND for housing and it aint coming from the masses.

Look to the rich Silicon Valley types and Foreigners.

And the Dow is up 260 points on this wonderful news, making it rather abundantly clear that everyone on Wall Street is a moron or in on the scam.

Or both.

I’d love to know where they’re pulling their numbers from, and I don’t mean from their rears.

“Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate was virtually unchanged at 62.8%.”

Call me nitpicky, but when the labor participation rate is unchanged, how can new jobs be added unless the population grows?

It’s illogical.

Besides, we know any supposed new jobs are all part time.

I am finding stuff made in Vietnam, even Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, as well. We lost a war in Nam, now we support their economy and lose jobs to them. They have won again. We lost Nam thanks to DIMOCRATS in Congress and their stupid president LBJ who ran the war and did not allow the generals too do it. I remember a statement LBJ made that the military could not bomb an outhouse in Nam unless he first approved it. Every bombing mission and large infantry scale exercise was Johnson and McNamara approved.

I’ve got liberals in workplace who have been strutting about that “He’s brought us to near statistical full employment!” and “not those Bush era jobs flipping burgers either!” if you can believe that...telling me that the economy is a feather in the cap for Democrats in 2016. Projection...BS...nuttiness...
