In an interview with ABC Friday, Bruce Jenner said he is transgender, and also Republican.

GOP’s Charlie Baker ran for governor of Mass. in 2010 with openly gay running mate, Richard Tisei, against Deval Patrick. It didn’t help; Patrick got re-elected. Patrick didn’t run in 2014, so the Dem nominee was Martha Coakley. Baker did win this time (narrowly) though this election, his running mate was female (Karen Polito).

So what is 21% of 1.5%?

.315% - A little under one third of one percent - about 1,008 people in the US ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Actually, estimating the population of the U.S. at 350 million with 21 percent (Pubbie voters) of 1.5 percent (LGBT population) would be a little over a million (1,050,000). That would mean that there are 4 million LGBT folks left to vote DemocRAT and most of them are in Blue States anyhow. So, not a big voting bloc for the 'RATS. And, please allow me to remind you guys that the 350 million pop. figure includes prolly 150 million minor children. So, that would lower the LGBT vote total even more but throw in the voting parents, friends and "sympathizers" of gays and we're prolly back to the first set of numbers I gave you. Not a big threat; not to worry.

How often do you see actual girls act as “girly” as the really “flamboyant” ones? I met a homosexual male who turned the behavior on and off at will.

Sadly, when I meet a homosexual I wonder who abused them during their formative years.

If they were “born that way” then why do the “experts” exclude identical twins from their studies?

A friend of mine in the fashion business worked with identical male twins who were gay. Both of them worked previously worked at Prada and then later on for a pattern making firm. As for sexual abuse in formative years I do believe that is true. I worked at the local prosecutor’s office in the Sex/Family Crimes Division and had occasion to hear that happening to some former victims of abuse. Some of the female victims either became lesbians, prostitutes or strippers.

Can I jump in here guys? I am NOT a member of a liberal denominational church by any means. We are very conservative. That said, my Pastor of many, many years, said that he has counseled grown men who wept and sobbed during counseling and said something to the effect of “I’ve had this ‘same-sex attraction’ since Elementary School”.... I’ve battled these demons my entire life...... Give me a pill or pray a prayer to make me straight and I will gladly accept it.” I have had Bi/Gay co-workers tell me the same thing. So, I am definitely of the persuasion that SOME homosexuals are born that way.

Biblically speaking, “male and female” is how we were created. (Genesis 1:27) One would be right to infer “straight” because of the complementary nature of the sexes.

Other tendencies seem to be due to environment and/or our fallen nature since Adam’s sin infected him and his progeny.

I have a female cousin who could run faster, throw farther and hit a softball harder than any of the boys in her elementary school classes. She was your classic tomboy. It was obvious from her earliest years that she was wired differently than other girls. She is grown now and an out lesbian. There is no doubt in my mind that she was born that way.

That said, I do think there is a certain percentage of people who voluntarily engage in homosexual behavior because it is deemed fashionable in some circles.

There were two little boys who went to elementary school with my daughter, they were swishy, as you say, from about age ten. I could see it, I wondered if their parents could. They grew up to be practicing homosexuals.
I just remembered there was a girl too, and from a very early age she appeared very masculine. She came out during college. These kids were from normal families and I never heard of any abuse.
