There was a little boy in my neighborhood who grew up to be a flamer. He was a swishy thing from early childhood.

I have a female cousin who could run faster, throw farther and hit a softball harder than any of the boys in her elementary school classes. She was your classic tomboy. It was obvious from her earliest years that she was wired differently than other girls. She is grown now and an out lesbian. There is no doubt in my mind that she was born that way.

That said, I do think there is a certain percentage of people who voluntarily engage in homosexual behavior because it is deemed fashionable in some circles.

Me, too. I don’t believe anyone in the family was surprised that this cousin is a lesbian. It is a personality disorder. And I don’t believe there is a cure for most gays/lesbians. Maybe for true believers who really want to change, but not for those non-religious ones.
