Hillary Clinton just doesn’t get it: She’s already running a losing campaign

Hillary Clinton joins the race for president today. If you believe the leaks from her staff, and there’s no reason you shouldn’t, she’ll do it in a video released at noon as she herself flies high above the nation in a chartered plane. She and her top advisors, all smart people, must think it’s a good idea. It doesn’t feel like one. SNIP

Barring a Jeremiah Wright-level crisis, a presidential candidate gets just two or three chances to make her case to a big audience. Her announcement is often her best shot. That Hillary passed on hers is unsettling. If she thinks she doesn’t have to make her case real soon she’s wrong. If she thinks she can get by on the sort of mush Democratic consultants push on clients she’s finished. On Thursday the Q poll released three surveys. In two states, she now trails Rand Paul. In all three a plurality or majority said she is ‘not honest or trustworthy.’ You can bet the leak about her $2.5 billion campaign will push those negatives up a notch.

Clinton seems as disconnected from the public mood now as she did in 2008. I think it’s a crisis. If she doesn’t right the ship it will be a disaster. In politics it’s always later than you think. Advisors who told her voters would forget the email scandals probably say this too will pass. If so, she should fire them.

Clinton needs a real challenge and a real debate, not just a sparring partner; not some palooka to dance her around the ring for a couple of rounds, but a real fighter. She needs the debate. We all do. But who will bring it?

You're right, but don't say it. A big government liberal like Christie, Bush, or Romney might take that advise.

Lets wait til it comes out before we knock her—Then, when she sees what she does and says, we can cut loose. What would I like? I would like to have her throw Obama under the Bus and show how she will be a better president-—tell all his ugly sins. Tell how America needs a new direction and she is it. How she covered up for him in Bengahazi—It was his call to “Stand Down”. tell how Obama closed the Government by direct order. tell the awful truth—that would bring down the President! That that would be good.

Literally in flyover country. Good image, Hillary. Her broom must be in the shop!

Clinton needs a real challenge and a real debate,

She can't debate and she knows it. Even her supporters know it. She can't make a case for herself. She can only remind America of her fetid history and revolting personal character.

Perhaps, she is ‘chasing the dragon’?

She is a woman. She wins. She doesn’t have to do all that usual politician stuff. They don’t even mention her gender. Didn’t anyone tell them?

Laughably, at the end of the article, they ponder why she needs to raise all that money. Doesn’t need it. Almost ruined Bill Clinton. Funny. Hey, Salon, the Clintons are all about the money. The Foundation is all about the money. As powerful as Bill Clinton was (and probably is, at least in their circles), they still envy the truly rich and want to be one of them. (Same will be true of Obama post Presidency.) They raise the excess money so they can keep it and use it. (Campaign finance laws are very generous on using excess campaign cash.)

I can’t stand the suspense...Who will speak on her behalf? Who will answer questions directed at her? Who thought running a silent campaign was a great idea?

Her advisors know that the more the people see Hillary, the less they like her. So they are going to run a peek-a-boo campaign, and keep Hillary as hidden as possible.

I truly don’t care what the consultants offer in the way of spin for “HER” because we should be demanding answers under oath instead of a stupid tweet.

She’s a cold, bitter old shrew who represents failed, empty policies. Let the GOP nominate someone young, who comes across with enthusiasm, eagerness, new policies, etc., and she’s toast. I think Walker can do that but I think if Bush is nominated she wins.
