Gay Athletes Planning Protests Over Indiana Law Around Final Four Mar 31, 2015, By RICK KLEIN

Several prominent, openly gay athletes will be among those protesting the new Indiana religious freedom law this week, despite Gov. Mike Pence’s promise to "fix" the law before the Final Four begins on Saturday, according to local activists.

Olympic diving legend Greg Louganis and former NBA player Jason Collins are among those coming to the state this week for press conferences or other public events. The effort to keep attention on the law around the college basketball showcase in Indianapolis caps a week where sports figures, including the president of the NCAA, have helped drive the national debate over a law gay-rights group view as opening the door to legalized discrimination

STFU homosexuals , I ma sick of hearing about your so called rights and they are all based on your sex.
If you love the person then I can say I love my dog, my daughter and kids, and other people but feel no need to be sexually attracted to them or marry them

Does anyone who will watch the Final 4 give a rip what Greg Louganis and Jason Collins think?

Guess’no protests in the20+ states that Indiana’s law is modeled on, as well as the 1993 federal law?

Facts are so inconvenient to liberals, they must ignore them.

I don’t even know when the games are to be played or who besides Kentucky is even playing. I sure won’t give a rats patootie about the degenerates getting their snouts out of gear.

My thoughts exactly. If they really felt strongly about this, they would stay home.

I don’t suppose something can be done to counter this like the Chick-fil-a buycott?

And the lie continues. The entire narrative is blatantly dishonest. None of the things they claim it is designed to do will occur - it just provides a shield against militants who specifically target certain business owners to destroy them - take away their means of earning a living because of who they are and what they believe, who in fact weren’t bothering anyone. That’s why they need this false narrative, because they can’t possibly make what this law was put in place for the issue of discussion. It’s all a lie.

I don’t care what Louganis or Collins have to say. Can’t understand them anyway; they mumble like they got a mouthful of marbles or something.

And, the 1993 federal law passed Congress overwhelmingly, including support from many liberals. Nancy Pelosi voted for it. Chuck Schumer was a major sponsor of it. Bill Clinton signed it.

Are we in a world where social/political narrative is all that matters, rather than any facts???

In this case, the fact that many states and the federal government have similar laws is of no consequence. The liberals and the media are staging a meltdown over this new Indiana law, and only the Indiana law. For unknown reasons. Why is it that religious freedom laws were of no concern to the left until last week?

In the Trayvon Martin case, the left had meltdowns over stand your ground laws, even though the stand your ground law in Florida was not part of that case at all. The liberals were able to make their statement even though the allegedly offensive stand your ground laws were not an issue in the case.

In the Michael Brown case, they made up the “hands up don’t shoot” meme; that incident never happened. But the liberals and their useful idiots in the media pushed the meme that Brown was trying to surrender and was shot for no reason.

The idiot governor of Connecticut is banning state travel to Indiana over this law, when his own state has one of those religious freedom laws.

Do facts matter to anyone? Do liberals have the ability to get away with anything and everything nowadays, as long as whatever they do supports political correctness?

Can we ask if the states with these laws have seen cases of homosexuals being discriminated against; can we see what the impact of these laws has actually been? Or is that asking too much, because the liberals need to continue hyperventilating???

Right - not to mention where the same laws were already in place for previous Final Fours without protests.

Just the latest fake issue to gin up bogus news stories to push a false narrative - that offering what are no more than simple protections for business owners to not be forced to participate in things which conflict with their values and be free of harassment and discrimination - typical liberals accusing others of what they themselves are in fact doing.
