There is a pro-Ferguson rally happening in front of the Police Station. Franklin Graham Ministries, which has parked their van where the protesters had been, watched a peaceful pro-Ferguson rally last night.
“The shooter of the two cops has been captured. Could have been Obamas son.”
No no no. He was shootin’ at two OTHER guys;)
No, wait; that's tossing a BAD apple into...
Oh, no... Phooey....
Just Ferget it.
Block Busting at a high level.
I don’t see why not.
Those 8th grade pictures of a smiling cherubic youngster are not necessary here. Because the perp is alive and in good health.
The destruction of the black family through the bribery and false charity and compassion of the Federal government is reaping its deadly harvest. We are several generations in to this tsunami among the black population and the white population is now following suit. Pastors and clergy can speak all they want about the previous wrongs, but if they don't address the reality that for the past several decades irresponsible men have been inseminating multiple women with no regard for their progeny and no condemnation from the community, they are doing a disservice to their flock.
I am hoping and trusting God for a revival, but it must be based in an admission of individual and corporate sin. I am a sinner, incapable of doing right before a Holy God without the sacrifice and guidance of my Lord Jesus Christ. My country is guilty of horrid sin, chief among them being the wanton slaughter of millions of innocent children before they can exercise their right to life. Having said this, I refuse to accept the blame for sins I have not committed, and I am repulsed to see the demands that the country pay and repay for sins already atoned for. There is more than enough legitimate guilt without wallowing in the artificial, accusatory filth of white liberal guilt.
I am grateful for the attention and prayers this pastor is directing towards Ferguson. God can take the weakest prayer and turn it into a thundering storm. But America needs to acknowledge all the true problems before they can be fixed. Ferguson is the knife's edge that will determine the country's ultimate direction. Actions must be taken carefully, thoughtfully and prayerfully of else disaster will ensue.
I saw the former mayor early on, and while he did issue some criticism, in the ones I saw, he was not over the top, and seemed reluctant to speculate in the absence of known facts.
Good point. When it comes to whose lives matter, why is it that so many on the left are so willing to write off the most innocent lives one the planet - the unborn.
I would too, if it’s as stated. However, in many places, if you get a lawyer (or simply go to court yourself) plead not guilty and indicate a desire to “plea” bargain, the violation can be reduced to a non-moving violation and/or probation for one year to avoid points on your license.
After a year with no new violations, the record goes away.
That’s pretty much standard procedure, and doesn’t have any thing to do with who you are or who you know.
If you get a lawyer, it doesn’t cost much more, you don’t have to go to court, You will pay a fine, court costs, and a lawyer, but your Insurance doesn’t go up.
How’s that working for you?

I don’t live there, so it works fine for me, but I can sympathize with good hardworking people who do.
Your diatribe makes no sense. I haven’t seen or read anything to indicate that 95% of the people spit in the face on anything or anyone. Nor has evidence been presented to show that 95% support firing the police force.
In fact, what’s being reported locally is that the majority would prefer to keep their own police force rather than depend on St. Louis County, which is the actual police force that decided to let everything burn.
While I would prefer to keep the Ferguson PD as a functional force, there is a precedent where the County Police actually improved the situation. A few years back, Kinloch, an historically black city bordering on Ferguson, collapsed so completely that the Kinloch Police were temporarily replaced by County. County quickly checked outstanding warrants for serious offenses against residency lists. Twenty percent of the city were arrested for outstanding warrants resulting from serious offenses, NOT speeding tickets. While it would be a huge blow to the city's prestige and, if done incorrectly, just might cause more harm than good, if this could remove the felons that are destroying my community I would be good with that.
Yeah, I know that that's a huge if, but a good precedent does exist and it might be repeated.

Be advised, some people say they get a page of grey lines as if the story has been "neutralized". If you experience this, click on the link labeled "more>" under the pic.
I don’t believe that I was actually mean to Caww. He made some rather unkind comments attacking me, that did not make sense. I didn’t attack him back, but just pointed out that what he said didn’t really make a lot of sense to me.
I have never lived in Ferguson, but of course am familiar with the area. I don’t have to live there to be capable of understanding that several hundred protestors out of thousands who live in Ferguson, and Millions who live in the City/County is just not representative of the entire population.
I wouldn’t condemn everyone for the actions of a few no matter where they are from.
Is there really a right to riot, loot, and incite violence? Hmm, I must have missed that part. I have no problem with telling criminals they are not allowed to engage in criminal activity, and a curfew is a nice way to nip it in the bud.
These people are not protesters. They are criminals.
Lord keep Franklin Graham and his followers safe!
The only Ferguson church mentioned by name in the article was the Believers Word Temple Fellowship, unless I missed something. The church is not in Ferguson, but that's a minor issue. I am very familiar with the area. When I was a child I regularly visited the church that's across the street from BWTF's property.
I want to believe that this church is not like some of the other predominantly black churches in the area that are blindly supporting the "justified anger" view of this matter. As of now I have no reason to think one way or the other. I checked out their website and nothing screamed, "run away!" but it didn't feel completely appealing either. I will check it out and see if this is a good place.
That being said, I will accept prayer for Ferguson from any and every direction, but I prefer being with people who realize that St. Mike assaulted a police officer and that was the cause of the riot.
I don’t know that it makes me any better than anyone else - it is just how I view things.
Anyway, you are welcome, and best wishes for you and your community efforts.
