Is there really a right to riot, loot, and incite violence? Hmm, I must have missed that part. I have no problem with telling criminals they are not allowed to engage in criminal activity, and a curfew is a nice way to nip it in the bud.

These people are not protesters. They are criminals.

Wow! You couldn't have missed the point by any more if you were blind and pointed 180 degrees in the wrong direction>

A curfew doesn't just contain/control the rioters - it is imposed on all the peaceful and law-abiding citizens as well. If you think that it is fine, and makes sense, to impose curfews of convenience, then perhaps you should actually read the Constitution.

Opinions like yours is the grease that lubricates the slippery slope down which our Freedoms slide on the way to the dustbin of oblivion.

Ever heard the saying by a fairly bright person of the past that goes something like:
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Some of the most repressive acts have come from "well-meaning, but not thought out" ideas.
