There is a pro-Ferguson rally happening in front of the Police Station. Franklin Graham Ministries, which has parked their van where the protesters had been, watched a peaceful pro-Ferguson rally last night.
Thanks.
That being said, I just finished speaking with a friend who was involved in yesterday's pro-Ferguson rally. The individual has much better media chops than I. I told the person to help with some pics, tweets, anything and hopefully some of this information/proof will soon be available.
The rally was scheduled for 3-5 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Things went very well until just before the scheduled closing time. About 4:30 some of the useful idiots and community organizers confronted the peaceful citizens who were supporting our city. And, of course, the media were nowhere to be found. We'll wait and see what comes out on facebook, twitter, etc.
The violent thugs desecrated one of the American flags that was waving. They got in the face of hard-working Americans who were exercising their rights to peaceably assemble and speak freely and cursed them, screaming in their face.
Early this morning, some representatives of the thug contingent arrived at the front porch of someone from the pro-Ferguson rally and confronted them. This is the caliber of people we are dealing with, and soon there will be calibers of a different sort involved.
Please, pray for Ferguson. Pray that the citizens will make wise decisions and take powerful steps that will keep this situation from turning into CWII. Our side is not quite ready for that scenario.

Consider it done, sir. And, may I say a heartfelt “Welcome to Free Republic” to you!
It was not easy writing as I did...I think you know that just by your response. But those of us, and as you know I am not alone, have been pretty maxed out ...and not just with Ferguson but with the entire “show” that went nationwide..... So it really isn't just limited to a few thugs..... The masses that showed up across the nation DID rally regardless...and filled with much hatred and anger which should have been directed toward their communities.....imagine what that would of done to the thuggery in every town if they gathered like that in those section 8 housing areas...and yes with police "escort" bringing up the rear to show these thugs both police and community ARE united to stop the violence....!
I saw a lot of 'energy' and 'organization' and "work" which carried this movement of “blacks lives matters” across the nation, but it was sickening that this same energy etc. could not be tapped toward one another in the black community.
Those who gathered showed clearly they are capable of rising to a cause they believe...even if they're wrong. So why not get the same organizer's to assist in solving the problems in the communities????... Put some feet to the ground in the troubled communities of concerned peoples and neighbors.... They can't all be Sharptons and his groups that were out there organizing.
You and your community do know that Ferguson is the template of what was expected and happened just as most thought would....and could be the template for what is is 'possible' in the future, and this for all black communities???? I'd like to think so but I have more than great reservations.
Look at that young gal and her kid that just got beat up by a gal hardly more than a kid herself....just because she was walking through her black neighborhood. This gal had a nice home, clothes etc...but yet globbered these two. What manner of hatred rests in these young people...and the source of...we know it starts with the family.
Ferguson has a long way to go...but it could be a great walk... I would also suggest, as if you don't already know, that the leadership is critical..if you don't get that right to begin with now then the former leaders will pull them down...and the community...why not have the 'one good candidate' you spoke of encourage people like himself to run for these offices and clear out all the dead wood...if you can do that for your police...all the more significant the leadership of the community.
I say this because no monies, no helps of experienced people will come there if they have to fight a council that doesn't know what or how to carry out the communities desires apart from their own selfish desires....and even then the council will have to be accountable to each other as it must be.
Oh I could go on...thinking now of the current Mayor who continues to stand his ground that he's staying...when in fact in a community of two thirds blacks the Mayor really should be black for Ferguson 'at this time'. I understand the people would prefer he leave...and he should ...let their be a new beginning for it all. I listened to him briefly and just think he's not suitable for the task.
Your leadership will have to fight now...in many directions... to rebuild the town and the communities mindset...you do know people are watching even when the news doesn't carry it....this thread is an example.
BTW I am an Organizer.....but of a different nature.... So to see where the problem is "rooted" needs to always be the focus, though not necessarily center when there are many moving parts as you will have. It's like building in a war zone...you have to push back the enemy that prevents that...guard the turf until you can push back more. Which is why there needs to be experienced people at the helm.
Thank you again...it's very late for me since I've been awake most of the evening..so I need to go for some rest. I wish there were more as yourself in Ferguson...lots more.... willing to do the job ahead...even committing to one year would be more than your community has had of really good leadership.

LOL - sorry, but that's snarky... You're talking about the New York Times?
We just had one here for our police force a few weeks back....prepared a huge dinner, with gifts for them and their families. Totally funded with private and business donations from the community.
Safety first...and Ferguson isn't safe enough for rallies..yet?
The answer to why media doesn’t cover the better angels in society is simple, if you know the motives of those holding the mediawhores’ strings. To show the better angels of our society is counter productive to the agneda the oligarchs are working furiously via their presstitutes, namely dissolve America, alienate the various segmented groupings, and end the Republic which teeters at the brink of being a hindrance to one world government and thus onw world totalitarian control by these same oligarchs. Evil saunters across the planet, devouring any who oppose its establishment.
FOX News is leading the pack but as I understand it even they are losing viewers.

Might keep the job and raise a good family, but not have a country. Plenty of time for them 'dogs (sports). Sounds like apathy.
Things are not likely to change until something really bad happens.
That would be WW3, but we're a long way from that. In the mean time we should Pray
for America and act ourselves to right the wrongs of this Government to bring it back
to God and the Constitution.
And having a Job and Raising our families is not Apathy.
Your insulting the wrong people no matter how you spin your reasoning.
Ferguson is a test run, as evidenced by the thuggery flown in to run the chaos. I’m beginning to see why the FRench people adopted the guillotine solution in the revolution.
How about adding a link to this FR thread if you haven’t already?
We still have plenty of time for what we want to do, though not as much time as the grifters.
If Obama can do that, so can we to reverse it.
The Constitution works if followed, but they've perverted it and are not following it,
therefore it's failing by the actions of failure as designed by the Democrats.
Once the Pen and Phone actions are done, eliminate the Pen and Phone to bring back
our process of creating laws. Slow and tedious is the way to go because it would
force them to reveil the laws before they can pass it, oh, and that's another problem
to be fixed.
Obama isn't finished yet and nobody is stopping him. Preaching to the choir here
but it needs to be on every thread for lurkers to find and see.
Back to work. /Salute
The black community must address the issues of crime and immorality that plague the good, honest, law-abiding black citizens. This can only be done within the community and it must be done within the community. My black friends are seeing their childrens' lives destroyed and it breaks their hearts and it breaks mine. To see someone who Christ died for taking that marvelous gift and urinating on it is heart-breaking.
I will believe that the "Black Lives Matter" movement is legitimate when I see what you have described. Black marchers by the hundreds and thousands confronting and removing the scum that have destroyed their community. This is nothing more than a slogan developed to allow race pimps, victimology vultures and poverty pushers the opportunity to follow Satan's lead and destroy our beloved country.
You state that Ferguson is a template for black communities. There is no way you could know that Ferguson is not a black community. It is not a white community. Before all this happened, and despite the DOJ's false, incendiary report, Ferguson is a community that had truly moved beyond race. I have black neighbors that are dear friends; I have black neighbors that are scum kept in control solely the the great policing work of the Ferguson PD.
Ferguson city government has been quite good up to this point. It doesn't meet the racial percentages, but the voters in this city are more interested in the content of a person's character than the color of their skin. There have not been a lot of black candidates, but the black councilman currently seated is a fine and decent man. Yielding to an affirmative action mayor would be a disaster at this point. If we get a mayoral candidate who is a man of character, ability and honor whose skin is dark, I would be happy with that. If we get a lesser copy of Jesse Jackson, I would not. If we get a lesser copy of Hillary, Bill, or any other corrupt, verminous politicians, race irrelevant, the healing of the city will be much more difficult.
Thank you for the good wishes, please consider adding your prayers to the mix. If you're not a praying man, ask someone who is to do it instead of you.

Excerpt:
On Sunday, when officials announced a suspect had been arrested in the shooting of the police officers, shouting and shoving broke out among scores of protesters outside Fergusons police station.
Soon, uniformed Graham chaplains emerged from the mobile conference room parked across the street, talking people down and even dragging a woman by the wrist from an angry crowd.
Over the course of the day, the chaplains invited people into the truck, offering snacks and prayer.
