Obama to ban bullets by executive action, threatens top-selling AR-15 rifle
Washington Examiner2-26-2015 ^ | 2-26-2015 | Paul Bedard

It’s started.

As promised, President Obama is using executive actions to impose gun control on the nation, targeting the top-selling rifle in the country, the AR-15 style semi-automatic, with a ban on one of the most-used AR bullets by sportsmen and target shooters.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this month revealed that it is putting the ban on 5.56mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets and prompting retailers, including the huge outdoors company Cabela’s, to urge sportsmen to urge Congress to stop the president.

As bad as Romney is, we could have fought him where we disagreed.

Well then...

As bad as OBAMA is, we could have fought him where we disagreed.

Do it!

We don’t have an argument over the RINOs in Congress. They disgust me.

I’ve changed parties? I have fought the battle here since 1996 and have fought the conservative battle since I was 16 and working for the Goldwater campaign.

I am not going to attempt to enlighten you. You have dug in your heels. For all those, who decided to stay home or vote 3rd party out of principle, be proud and just own it. We could have been spared four more years of this Marxist, who is destroying our country. We knew what he was going to do.

Given the choice of fighting Romney for 4 years or the lame duck, America-hating, Constitution-disdaining, closet Muslim, I chose to fight Romney. Some people thought it didn’t matter. Those people are fools.

“So you live in a RAT state. Proud of it?”

I live in a blue state. Am I proud of it? Well, no. No more than if I lived in a RINO state.

The Central Oligarchy Party - either wing - doesn’t make me proud.

You're absolutely right.....we should have rushed right out and voted into the Presidency the first governor to sign an "assault weapons" ban and said he was no friend of the NRA. I bet he would've really stood up for Constitutional rights.

Nice try Karl......go back to the white board.

Yes, the GOP should go in another direction IF they wanted to win.
They don’t.
Their purpose is to block conservatives from power.

They forced the author of McCain/Kennedy on us in 2008.

They forced the author of Romneycare on us in 2012.

They will force Jebster on us in 2016.

And his loss will be blamed on conservatives by psuedo-conservatives.

Look how many are here blaming conservatives for the previous designated losers.

Do the math. And what happened to the 3.5 million liberals who stayed home? Obama won by 5 million votes and won the electoral college vote by a large margin. I provided you with the actual vote totals. So, what states would Romney have won if these mythical conservatives had voted?

I think Fraud in the biggest reason Obama 'won' the second time.

It was either fraud or we have become a communist/socialist population, neither of which are easily fixed.

To: Artcore; All

Since I am the RINO List dude, some here call a blog pimp, I would like to take the responsibility for defeating Mitt “RINO” Romney. I would also like to remind some of the Romney-Bots that first the whole lesser of two evils argument is a negative argument for someone. That right there kills it for you off the bat. If your best argument is that he is less bad than the alternative, you kind of have already lost the argument, which is why you DID lose the argument and the election.

Romney never was nor is a Capitalist. He was and is a Merchantilist. He was and is an East Coast Liberal. He was on the Main Street Republican board along with Juan McCain and Lindsey Grahmnesty which accepted money from George “Dr. Evil” Soros. The way we know it was the old wrinkly evil guy was because Michelle Malkin discovered and published the info years ago.

Now, about da guns. If you apes think that RINO Romney would have protected the guns from gun grabbers, please explain these things from the Mittster!

From the Washington Post:

“Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney has actually been more active than Obama on gun control — albeit during his time in Massachusetts. Since leaving office, he has moved away from those positions.

While running for Senate in Massachusetts in 1994, Romney supported background checks and a ban on some assault weapons. “That’s not going to make me the hero of the NRA,” he said. Running for governor in 2002, he said, “We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts — I support them. I won’t chip away at them. I believe they help protect us, and provide for our safety.”

As governor, in 2004, signed an assault-weapons ban in the state. However, that law won support from some gun-rights advocates by making it easier to get and renew a firearms license. Romney also raised the state’s gun-registration fee from $25 to $75.

Romney joined the National Rifle Association in 2006, a few months before launching his first presidential bid. “I’m a member of the NRA and believe firmly in the right to bear arms,” he said in 2007.

Pressed by NBC’s Tim Russert on the issue that year, he said, “I support Second Amendment rights, but I don’t line up 100 percent with the NRA. They take some positions that are different than mine.” He continued to support the assault-weapons ban, reaffirming that position in a 2008 debate.

However, in a subsequent interview with conservative bloggers, Romney said, “I don’t support any gun control legislation, the effort for a new assault weapons ban, with a ban on semi-automatic weapons, is something I would oppose. There’s no new legislation that I’m aware of or have heard of that I would support.” “

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/post/where-obama-and-romney-stand-on-gun-control/2012/07/20/gJQAwMpNyW_blog.html

For a snort worthy display of his “positions” see http://www.ontheissues.org/2012/Mitt_Romney_Gun_Control.htm

How about this:

“I’m after the NRA’s endorsement,” Romney told an audience in Derry, N.H. “I’m not sure they’ll give it to me. I hope they will.”

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/07/25/romney-s-flip-flops-on-gun-control-over-the-years.html

These guys here were WAY too nice to the Mittster mostly because they omit a TON of evidence that the above sites do give. But even then they give him a half flip.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/may/18/mitt-romney/mitt-romney-exhibits-marked-change-gun-rhetoric/

This video will make you laugh or snort depending.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/23/mitt-romney-gun-control_n_1696538.html

And finally this from the Gun Owners of America BEFORE the election.

http://gunowners.org/mittromney-2012.htm

PLEASE stop the lies that RINOmney would have been this champion of Conservatism and a defender of our guns. By this time, he would be “mulling over” what to do to enforce greater gun control.

I wonder if people realize how foolish they look when the only reason they can give for voting for a particular candidate is party affiliation.

The final vote tally says it all. Romney got 1 million more votes than McCain and Obama received 3.5 million less votes than 2008 and he still won by 5 million votes. Demography is destiny.

He’s got no authority to ban the sale of ammunition.

He has got no authority to issue SSN# either or change the ACA arbitrarily, or spend money that has not been budgeted, yet he does all with impunity.

No authority but plenty of power, not even a republican congress dares object.
