Obama to ban bullets by executive action, threatens top-selling AR-15 rifle
Washington Examiner2-26-2015 ^ | 2-26-2015 | Paul Bedard

It’s started.

As promised, President Obama is using executive actions to impose gun control on the nation, targeting the top-selling rifle in the country, the AR-15 style semi-automatic, with a ban on one of the most-used AR bullets by sportsmen and target shooters.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this month revealed that it is putting the ban on 5.56mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets and prompting retailers, including the huge outdoors company Cabela’s, to urge sportsmen to urge Congress to stop the president.

Yeah. Romney would have banned bullets and triggers.

BS. It's idiots like you who knew nothing about Romney.

The present 0bama/BATFE tyranny is an attempt to ban specifically M855/SS109 ammunition. This is 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition with a 62gr, partial steel core FMJ bullet. 5.56x45 NATO ammunition is also commonly sold in the (X)M193 form with a 55gr lead core FMJ bullet.

Bam-Bam/BATFE are currently attempting to infringe our right to keep and bear M855/SS109 ammunition.

Bam-Bam/BATFE are not YET attempting to infringe our right to keep and bear other forms of 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition.

I recommend contacting congressthings and senators, at least, in opposition to this attempted tyranny.

LOL!

What are you smoking?

Mitt Romney is a Globalist?

You mean the Globalist Mitt Romeny who threw the debates?

Who had the blue print of Obama Care?

Dude the fact that Republicans in congress are doing nothing about this
clue you in on what Romeny would do.

Romney is NOT a conservative. He is collaborator and is compromised like many in the Republican leadership.

The Republicancan leadership has for the most part betrayed the conservatives, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and spit on the graves of the good men and women that died in wars for our freedoms.

Now keep in mind it was this same leadership that wanted Romeny at all cost. Oh but we are suppose to belive Romney would not have done this?

At this late date, anyone claiming conservative stay-at-homes changed the outcome of the 2012 election is just lying and hoping no one will notice. It’s become just an insult without meaning.

Want to know where to find missing conservative votes? Unregistered/non-voting/Democrat-voting self-identified evangelical Christians.

People who voted for Romney did not help Obama get elected. That is an undeniable fact.

You had to know the fascist leftist would go after ammunition since gun bans failed at the ballot box. That said, I suspect this ban will be about as effective as Prohibition. There aplenty of 5.56 brass in circulation and plenty of means and materials to cast any type of projectile.

I am entertained by the flames you’re receiving for your comment; but you’re right.

Anybody who cannot see the difference between O and R is not worth the conservation.

They worked it on me a time or two. Their bag of guilt trips is empty. They went to it too many times. Next time I vote, I will either mark the ballot for a Conservative or write in a Conservative.

Yeah, you can use it to protect yourself. Exactly one time.

Then you'll be in prison. With the types you were trying to protect yourself from.

So what is your excuse for 2014? Seems we loaded up Congress, but what is that getting us?

Other than a sore ass, nothing.

I don't give a hoot or holler about Romney. He's a Deadbeat now and deserves no more recognition for being a Looser. Period! Being stuck on Romney is senseless and a waste of time. But then that's why you and others are here raising the dead.

The purpose is you jackasses will do the same thing in 2016 because people like you never understood the lesser of the two evils. Children would have more brains. It pays to realize who you are and why we will lose in 2016 because you are still around.

“How about the all copper bullets? Are they next?”

Virginia already bans all-copper bullets. They are “restricted ammunition”.

From the Virginia Code on “restricted ammunition”:

“cartridges of which the bullet itself is wholly comprised of a metal or metal alloy other than lead.”

I say that every time I see one more of his abuses. As bad as Romney is, we could have fought him where we disagreed. By Jan 20, 2017, we may not have a country left. Nice going to all who stayed home or voted 3rd party.

At least the ones that stayed home stuck to their principles.

We had that chance in 2012, but 4 million decided to stay home. This will not be stopped.

The ONLY "chance" we had of defeating Obama's agenda in 2012 was to nominate a conservative. Unfortunately, Romney adopted as scorched-earth policy used his money to make sure that EVERY conservative candidate was destroyed.

I honestly don't know why the RINO lovers even care that Romney lost, NOTHING would be different with Romney as president.

People need to understand that Obama is basically imitating Romney's policies as governor of Massachusetts:
- Romney imposed Romneycare. Obama duplicated it for Obamacare.
- Romney imposed taxpayer-funded abortion, so did Obama.
- Romney imposed same-sex "marriage," so is Obama.
- Romney tried to ban AR-15s, so is Obama.

What you need to get through your head is that when the voted are given the choice between two liberals with nearly identical positions, the one with the "D" after their name will typically win.

If Romney had been in during the Sandy Hook aftermath, Republicans would have fallen all over themselves to ban semi-automatic rifles and their peripherals behind him. IMO, it’s the ONE serendipitous thing positive that came out of the current douchebag-in-chief, it gave the “opposition” something to rally behind. (and I voted for Romney myself)
