If you care at all about the players on the Jackie Robinson West Little League team, don’t call them champions.
They aren’t. Wednesday’s announcement by Little League International that the team has been stripped of its U.S. title and all its wins from the 2014 Little League World Series tournament is all the proof you need.
These are not champions. To say otherwise is a disservice to these kids, and they’ve already been handed a disservice big enough to last a lifetime.
So don’t say, “It’s OK, kids, you’re still champions in our eyes.” Don’t say, “We don’t care, you guys still won it all.”
Tell them the truth, and don’t sugarcoat a bit of it.
Tell them they’re not champions because, according to a lengthy Little League International investigation, the adults that the young players trusted to lead them to a title “knowingly violated Little League International rules and regulations by placing players on their team who did not qualify to play because they lived outside the team’s boundaries.”

My thoughts too. Already all you hear about this is that the investigation is racist. I’m so sick of the race card.

When they won, no one doubted the potential of those inner city youth at the time.
And Mayor Rahm said it, too, tho it sounded on the radio as if he were choking on it (at least a little).
The always contemptible Fr. Michael Pfleger said, "If they're going to investigate JRW, then they have to investigate every team".
Well, no they don't have to investigate everyone, just the ones against whom credible– and provably true– allegations are made.

Its Jesse Jacksons turn to play the racism card with the team being stripped of the title.

Get use to it. The propaganda machine is in full swing. Every other word out of a leftists mouth will be racism until even the conservatives will begin to believe that racism is the cause of all evil.

Go ahead, investigate EVERY team. The teams that don't have any infractions (or the least amount) are the only ones eligible to win.
I heard that 4 or 5 of the 13 kids were ineligible.
I guess they just ran out of kids in the inner city, so they had to expand the boundaries a little, until they could find some more.
By the way...
There were no white kids, or Asians, or Hispanics, or SE Asian kids that lived in those areas either. (just black kids)

The truth is one of the coaches for JRW also coached a club team that had players from all over the Chicago area. They were the best team around.
That coach took the best of the best from that club team and stuffed them all on JRW. Most of them lived and went to school miles away from the JRW district.
The coaches, parents, and the kids all knew they were cheating. The BS that the kids didn’t know is just that, BS!
Every kid knows you have to live within a team district to play on team, if you live 15-20 miles away you know you aren’t in that district!
This wasn’t a case of someone a block or two out of the boundary, most of them were from the suburbs many miles away.
The Liberals are correct:
Black people should be allowed to cheat, because they cannot compete with the other races on a level playing field.
That’s what the Liberals have been telling us since the inception of Affirmative Action. Correct?
