California has a way of living up to the worst regulatory expectations, as grocery shoppers across the country are discovering. The states latest animal-rights march is levying a punishing new food tax on the nations poor.

I reexamine the fight vs. flight argument regularly. I live in the Peoples Soviet of Washington in the shadow of the Seattlunatics. My reasons for staying are roughly the same as yours - with the addition that I enjoy being a thorn in the side of proggies ;’)
I confess that the “thorn in the side” aspect is also
one of my guilty pleasures. Always enjoy hearing from
a fellow traveler.
And Max, as a side note ... love your profile page :-)

And yes. I actually pray with that prayer on my profile page...even at church where I get a lot of looks.
Hear! Hear!
Well said dale!
