In the 219-206 vote, 67 Republicans rejected the spending bill, largely because it failed to take action to stop Obama’s executive immigration order. But that was offset by 57 Democrats who voted in favor.

I don’t usually read Limbaugh all the way through, but this was a departure - a good read.

Rush gets so much slapping around and yet, and here on FR that is, and yet he is the only one I hear besides a few truly conservative pundits, Monica Crowley comes to mind, who doesn’t constantly say, and rush actually never says, ‘well, why don’t the republicans act the way they should ‘?. I or ‘why doesn’t Obama seem to be on our side on this?’

Rush consistently faces the reality of these situations. Consistently

He is never surprised

Yet he takes a lot if slamming

If he were afraid of his detractors he’d be acting like these horrible republicans and like the wimpy dopey fox pundits

Chris Wallace wouldn’t let him finish a thought

So 57 House DemocRATs FIRST VOTED TO SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT by VOTING AGAINST THE RULE, VOTING AGAINST bringing up the final vote on the omnibus bill.
BUT THEN LATER … VOTED FOR keeping the government open by voting FOR "controversial financial and political campaign provisions" by VOTING FOR 'CROMNIBUS' (Continuing Resolution Omnibus Budget bill).

So they voted Against the 'CROMNIBUS' BEFORE they voted FOR the 'CROMNIBUS' ?
Were they SCHOOLED BY ALGORE 's politics ?

Rush is always right, and is a true leader, even if he is getting milder in his aging.
I can understand losing a little passion as I'm approaching 60 myself, and some days … I just don;t feel like dealing with all this EVIL coming from the ILLEGAL ALIEN IN CHIEF and all his minions.

Stinking Chris Wallace can always be trusted to undermine any conservative.
Why Fox News ever hired that COMMUNIST, I'll NEVER understand.
Send that piece of crap to the unemployment line, where he belongs.

Rand Paul On Shutdown: "Even Though It Appeared I Was Participating In It, It Was A Dumb Idea"
I said throughout the whole battle that shutting down the government was a dumb idea. Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. If we were to extend the sequester from discretionary spending to all the entitlements we would actually fix our problem within a few years.

The reason the GOPe uses the Goldwater defeat in 1964 and Newt’s cave in 1995 is not because they fear it, but because they know we do. They don’t give a crap about anything but themselves.

They know … WRONG !
I want them to take names and kick butt !
You're right about the FACT that ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" don't care about anything but themselves.
But ONE BY ONE, we're replacing those backstabbers with TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVES, who WILL FIGHT, and will vote them OUT OF LEADERSHIP!

There needs to be an official schism in the republicans, and it needs to happen now.

All those in favor of Boehner and McConnell - on the left and those in favor and willing to fight for our constitutional republic, on the right.

Those on the right should play hardball - refuse to go along with any cronyism or socialism, consequences be damned.

What has to happen is that the hard-left anticapitalists of the Democrat Party have to come to full power to put the fear of God into Chamber of Commerce types. Only then will they come groveling to the Tea Party begging our forgiveness.

That schism was in effect during the 2014 PRIMARY and GENERAL Election.

The "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" will NOT get the message unless THAD COCKROACH LOSES!

It is VITAL that Thad is removed, or the RINOs will do it again, and they may do it again, anyway.
