Various Tweets:

Terrorists attacked and blew up a police car, killing three police, then attacked the Press Center.

Other tweets saying many dead employees.

Initial reports were saying as many s 300 militants, but recent ones seem to be saying a couple of dozen.

I think that Putin should immediately call for a referendum in Chechnya, just like he did in Crimea so that the locals can decide whether they wish to remain a part of Russia.

Chechnya has always been a restive thorn in the side of the Russians. During WW II Stalin deported the entire Chechan population to Siberia on the pretext that they were collaborating with the Nazis. The hatred is mutual and the Chechans do not need an excuse to launch insurgent attacks on the Russians whom they see as occupiers.

Too many Russian soldiers have died down there, who would want to fight over that real estate? Russia doesn’t need it.

More info:

A militant muzzie website is claiming the attack was done by the “Mujahideen of the Caucasus Emirate”, called “Operation Amir Khamzat”.

Amir Khazmat was a Lt. of the now-dead Islamic Chechen leader Doku Umarov.

Several tweets saying the fighting is over.

Troll Armies, some places I know on the net even discourage the use of the word “Troll” or at least calling anyone this...... have been at least for China in the past, heck, other causes, maybe even Lance Armstrong. Rather curious phenomenon.

“A June article by Max Seddon of BuzzFeed reported the Kremlin was spending millions of dollars to pay English-speaking Russians to promote President Vladimir Putin and his policies in U.S. media like Fox News broadcasting and The Huffington Post and Politico news sites. Trolls are reportedly expected to manage multiple fake accounts and post on news articles 50 times a day, often with sentiments as simplistic as “Putin makes Obama look stupid and weak!”

“Also reported-major fight between LPR “separatists” and Russian SF. Several Cossack leaders reported dead. Eastern Ukraine.”

Awesome! If the “separatists” killed some Cossacks, that means there will soon be plenty of dead “separatists”. Win-win for Ukraine.

Aw hell, they don't need paid trolls to do that. The One can do it all by himself.

In most ways (having nothing whatsoever to do with the Watergate imbroglio), I did not care very much for Richard Nixon. But he did have one redeeming quality, in my opinion: He frightened the Soviets (now known simply as the Russians). Brezhnev, Andropov, et al. were sincerely convinced that he was just a bit unstable, mentally; and that he just might wake up one morning, and decide that it would be great fun to nuke Moscow!

Too bad that President Obama has given the current Russian leadership no reason to fear anything similar...

“reported the Kremlin was spending millions of dollars to pay English-speaking Russians to promote President Vladimir Putin and his policies in U.S. media”

Just like ACORN, Obama-For-America, Open Society, and the Omidyar project, eh??

Did the Russians learn from the 2008 and 2012 Democrat Campaigns?
