....In the poll, Peters leads Republican candidate Terri Lynn Land 53 percent to 39 percent among registered voters. That spread is roughly in line with the findings from other recent polls....

“I see LA going to a runoff, and I am confused to why the combined votes would not be enough to beat Landrieu in the end?”
It will go to a runoff, but she has zero chance of winning that. In LA Nov 4th is like a primary with all the candidates in at once. She won’t break 40% in the runoff.
If Snyder (A REPUBLICAN) hadn't decided to tax retiree pensions then maybe Land might have had a better chance......
I stand corrected if you find a real hard hat union person who still loves America. I can remember arguing with a union dummie who was going to vote for Obola because he used 35 billion in other taxpayers money to bail out his favored “too big to fail” General Motors!
Terry Bowman testimony on capitol hill against union political fundraising.

Great point! I’ve argued until I’m blue in the face with purists that insist on 100% conservative or we’ll pull the pillars down.
I see many predictions saying Landrieu will win the run off, which has me puzzled.
From your fimgertips to Godsears. The negativity around this website is a sad thing to see. It seems the are so interested in proving their “theory” all judgement ahs left them.
do not underestimmate the voter suppression occurring as we speak. the livs don’t read the polls and don’t watch much news, but fumbling, bumbling, idiots currently occpying the reins of power are finally being overtaken by events only a prophit could have forseen. ebola may not be a “major threat” to our country a a whole, but it has reached the soul of the nation.
i will personally dress as a ebola medical worker for halloween. my buddy who sells costumes for halloween says it is a very hot seller this year. this is exactly the kind of issue that depresses democrap turnout. (Especially livs) ebola (and the dredded ibol cused bu iphone usage) are on the minds of all americans.
“Landrieu now picks up 41% of the vote to Cassidys 38% in the latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Louisiana Voters. Another Republican, Tea Party favorite Rob Maness, earns 14% support, while two percent (2%) prefer one of the other candidates in the race. Five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)”
I would say that anyone that thinks that 14% tea party vote is going to the RAT in the runoff is talking out their a$$.
The same deal in Georgia, if/when it goes to a runoff the RAT is toast.
We WILL take the Senate! Not only that, after the election two more RAT senators will jump ship to the GOP, WV, and ME!
Peters has the smear ads going for weeks, suddenly he’s exposed for his crooked behavior, and he rolls out an ad with his family members like he’s selling replacement windows, used cars, or is buying used gold. I don’t think that Terri Lynn Land has waged a very aggressive campaign, but I think there’s a chance that she’ll carry the west side of the state, and get enough of the east to beat his sorry lying ass.
I keep telling people that if they want to stick it to the establishment, elect Land without their help.
Also. Nothing would demoralize democrats more than losing a Michigan senate seat.
I didn’t realize that the democrats had pulled their money out of the Michigan senate race but they don’t run out and publish it like the GOP.
Quite.
You wrote “the dems dont go out amd publish it like the gop.”
ithink it was you, but someome said she was tea party connected. if so, withdrawing gop funds was more a factor of the tokyo rove wing (read the bushes) being petulant and stuuupid about a non-”mainstream” candidate (read conservative).
“Are you a socialist? Or, a communist? Because if the GOP is toast, those are going to be our only two choices.”
They already are our only two choices. Outside of a handful of liberty loving Conservatives that are making an effort in DC, the GOP-e leadership PROMOTES big government.
“I personnaly would prefer 51 RINO’s to what we have now. If you say there is no difference between 51 RINO’s and what we have now, you are entitled to your opinion, but you have ZERO right to complain about whatever liberal he11 the left brings forth next.”
Tell that to McConnel that stated his goal was to “crush the tea party.” Tell it to Snow that has stated that “Obamacare is a done deal, the discussion of repeal should be soundly silenced.” Tell it to Boehner who has stated that the House goal is to pass a budget reconciliation that “fully funds the current federal budget for at least a year” to avoid any confrontation with newly elected Conservative members.
Yes, the Democrats are Marxists. However, the Republican leadership is Progressive. I will vote for neither. Now, in my state that means that my incumbent R governor will not get my vote, but the R senatorial and house candidates will get my vote.
Either way, this election does not hold much promise or much to loose. Obama will act like a dictator and the GOP-e leadership will roll along for the ride!
BTW, whatever happened to Boehner’s vaunted lawsuit against Obamacare? Let me answer that for you, it HAS NOT been filed yet.
They are actually reprogramming machines for the voter fraud now.
We will not only lose every single race in 2014, we will actually lose some seats that are NOT EVEN ON THE BALLOT.
And some liberal judge will approve it.
The 0nly thing wrong woth your equating both parties is you and your fellow idealogical purists do not see the difference between slowly walking to hell, and going full bore @ 80mph.
You obviously have a reading comprension issue.
I tead what u said everytime someone sugests a gop majority. Someome has an issue- bit its not me friend. Do i like eastern liberal pubs. No but they are preferable to democraps. Ron Regan said that. You friend have the issue. Its callwd a one track mind.
Your typing is on par with your reading conprehension.
