DALLAS -- Dallas County's top public health epidemiologist is among those potentially exposed to Ebola after she spent time at patient Thomas Eric Duncan's bedside the day he was diagnosed with the virus.
Dr. Wendy Chung has remained on the front lines of the government's response to the outbreak since Duncan's diagnosis. She's worked alongside federal, state and local health authorities as she undergoes monitoring for any signs of the disease.

I'm kind of mathematically inclined. I saw a probability distribution of onset versus time. Maybe it's inaccurate, but it looked like 85 to 90% (not 99!) of the infections occurred before 21 days, with most between 10 and 15 days.
They seem to have just dropped off the face of the earth after they were whisked off to a supposed private house somewhere.
It is hard to believe that none of them have come down with it if they were for real.
You appear to be not at all familiar with Ebola's actual transmission patterns. Hammering studs and pulling cable a couple of miles away from the nearest Ebola patient is not likely to expose one to infection. It is possible that a small number of troops will be involved in actual patient contact, in which case they could become infected if protocol breached or protective equipment fails.
If they are sick, you can be damn sure they won’t tell us.

What you said! Unless they do have some kind of immunity being from the region. Either way, they were "hidden" away for some reason. Was it because they were sick or because they were not sick?
