I knew a homosexual male and lesbian female married with 2 kids. I bet their kids are ok compared to those who grow up in a same sex marriage but the faux-studies won’t show it.

even if states left then the liberals are still too dumb to understand that there are people around them not wanting their agenda and not wanting the small minority imposing their left wing radical agenda

The state should never have been in the marriage business in the first place.

Okay, stop with this nonsense already. The state's role in merely recognizing marriage is not being "in the marriage business." It has never been a problem until within the past decade or so, and we shouldn't change this system on account of some anarchist sodomites.

Government at some level will frequently be asked to officiate in marriages when these are contested or denied. The government must define what it officiates.

To hell with secession! That’s the coward’s way out! Grab your rifles. There can be only one winner in this debauchee - It is either us or them. We CANNOT and SHOULD NOT attempt to “coexist” ... Our federal government is beyond reform. Period. The American “republic” as we knew it is D-E-A-D. We need to recognize and accept this fact, taking all that comes with it - and act accordingly. The situation is NOT going to get better just because Republicans win an election. This crap train will only be stopped by force of arms. You are deluding yourself if you believe otherwise.

The two things aren’t mutually exclusive. Just ask Larry Craig.

It pays to be on the lookout for closeted homosexuals in beard marriages, lest we allow them into positions where they can bore from within, Supreme Court appointment being the worst case scenario.

I don’t know about Roberts, either. I’ve long thought Kennedy swishy in manner, though.

Others have mentioned things along the same lines.

To be honest, this isn’t something I had focused on before, and I think it is an interesting concept.

I know a place where the Pres__ent _resident fits this definition quite closely.

If Roberts and Kennedy and this enemy of the state do come under this category, it’s very interesting indeed.

“Or Bush knew exactly what he was getting.”

Remember Bush’s second pick for the Court was Harriet Myers, not Alito. He had to drop Myers when the base revolted.

Republican Presidents are responsible for many moderate to liberal justices:

Earl Warren - Eisehower
Harry Blackman - Nixon
Lewis Powell - Nixon
John Paul Stevens - Ford
Sandra Day O’Conner - Reagan
Anthony Kennedy - Reagan
David Souter- Bush I
John Roberts - Bush II

Imagine who Romney or McCain might pick. Their picks would have been more like someone from the list above than Scalia or Alito.
