Put in mind the incompetence of government in their duties, all in addition to the depravity, and it’s not promising.

We live in a Constitutional Republic, not an oligarchy.

It’s time for the states to start nullifying such unconstitutional decisions.

Sooner or later, somebody’s got to reverse or nullify Supreme Court decisions that incorporate the 1st-6th Amendments into the 14th amendment thus inverting the purpose of the 1st-6th Amendments which specifically targets LIMITING federal government power. Instead, the convoluted “Incorporation Doctrine” astonishingly and unconstitutionally INCREASES the power of the federal government by allowing it to enforce the 1st-6th Amendments. This has lead to the unconstitutional usurping of state authority by the feds in cases like these gay marriage cases.

NULLIFY THESE UNCONSTITUTIONAL DECISIONS!!!

Time to begin secession plans in earnest.

I never felt for a moment that you were giving me a hard time.

Btw I am not thrilled with everything GW did, And I am disappointed in just how liberal his children and wife are.

Roberts to me sounded like a good thing at the time, but boy was I wrong...I just hope that Alito is OK, and what about the rest.

If they had 4 votes (am guessing they did not) then they should have taken the case even if only to buy time

Yes you take care also

Ken Star would have been a good choice, we could have gone nuclear if needed, Harry says it`s the only way to go.

I thought Roberts was going to be our guy

I loathe Roberts! What a pathetic pansy he is! He’s the John Boehner of the Supreme court!

I don't know why everyone is singling out Roberts for bashing. No one dissented from this order, or from Monday's denials of cert.--not Scalia, not Thomas, not Alito.

The speculation in the legal blogosphere is that the conservatives voted against cert. because they don't trust Kennedy and think he is the likely 5th vote for gay marriage; they would rather have the issue remain undecided by the Supreme Court, even at the price of gay marriage going into effect in 30 or more states, than have a definitive decision against them. Likewise, the speculation is that the liberals also voted against cert., either because they are not 100% sure of Kennedy's vote, or because they think public uproar against a decision for gay marriage will be less in a few years as gay marriage becomes more accepted.

Well, I am hopping mad that they pulled this in Wisconsin.GGRR

...and Republican Gov. Walker said he's fine with it. Exactly why you won't get 38 states to amend the Constitution, and why you probably won't get any state willing to resist this forcibly.

I read he’s homosexual. Starting to believe it. Why are they pushing this on this nation? It’s as if he’s been hired by Satan.

The military needs to step in and put the entire deal on ice.

Provisional military government is the only solution.

The Republic the Founders gave us has been dead since 1861.

A Right Wing POTUS could wield Dictatorial power and appoint 5 additional rabid conservatives to the SCOTUS.

The Constitution does not specify 9.

The Federal Judiciary WILL be neutralized.

Civilian control of the military is highly overrated.

All snarky types will be fine as long as they support the regime.

The Washingtonians are the PROBLEM.

Never the SOLUTION.

You post once a month and probably are on FR today because you have the afternoon off because of the 3 day weekend.

Apparatchik much?

I post when something interests me.
I wished you good luck because there’s not going to be a military government, or civil war 2, or secession.

Jmo but by the time SCOTUS takes this case it will already be decided by public opinion.
It won’t be repealed.

Neither party wants to fight over this and especially the GOP doesn’t.
The GOP is poised to take the senate, they don’t want to upset the applecart on an issue that most of them don’t care about one way or another.
