EXCLUSIVE: Poconos cop killer taunts police as he's spotted AGAIN before fleeing into remote
UK Daily Mail ^ | September 28, 2014 | Martin Gould

Fugitive gunman Eric Frein has again evaded the massive police dragnet that has now been hunting him for 16 days as he ran into woods after being spotted in the Pocono Mountains.

Frein, 31, wanted for murdering one state trooper and critically injuring another, managed to flee, although MailOnline understands they have a jacket that he left behind.

Frein, who is on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List, was seen just outside the perimeter of the five-square-mile search area that up to 1,000 cops are manning at any one time.

The sighting led to a huge shift southwards as heavily armed cops were forced to rethink their tactics in their frustrating task of finding the expert woodsman...

Or other SpecFor, probably yes.

Wait a minute - a thousand cops set up a perimeter, and he's OUTSIDE it?

Why don’t they post a 1 million dollar reward, back off and allow all of the local boys to organize and go get him? It would be far faster.

So we have a guy that has killed one law enforcement officer and attempted to kill another. He’s armed and dangerous and we can probably assume that his disregard for human life extends to non-law enforcement personnel.

This what doesn't make sense. If why hasn't he killed anymore police if he supposedly hates them so much as reported by the media. Why not shoot more as those first driving to the scene exited their vehicles? Perfect opportunity. PA State police aren't the most professional or brightest bunch.

I don’t approve of what this guy did. He deserves to be brought to justice.

Exactly. He knows what he did, and he appears ready to pay the piper for the tune he called for.

Wouldn't a sniper utilize diapers to stay stationary? If I recall, Carlos Hathcock fouled his pants rather than move several times.

At least the time he popped the NVA general that is what he had to do. 3 days!

Read his book, if you have not already done so.

And if he kills someone while cops are saving money, those screaming the loudest now will be the ones screaming about the cops letting him go to kill again.

It's pretty clear that he's not a danger to the "civilian" population.

I find it fascinating that no one is sharing the exact details of Frein's "general dissatifaction" with the policing element of society.

It's a telling omission.

Rent the Goodyear blimp and put 3 guys with IR scopes on board. Nighttime would work best.

Running away doesn't do much to prove their bravery.

One guy standing and fighting half a thousand hired muscle & gunthugs, and their armored vehicles and automatic weapons proves what, exactly? That you're a SKOS (Special Kind of Stupid)?

OTOH, I can imagine a certain VP firing a couple of warning shots with his shotgun over the heads of the paramilitary gunthugs.

He also knows the cops are going to kill him the moment they find him. There will be no arrest - this is a search-and-destroy mission.

Assuming that makes an ass out of you. It's already been noted by numerous sources that the converse is true.

We could probably reduce costs by a great deal if we could get the hired camo-muscle to cough up who REALLY started this dance. I'm sure they know.

It's not nice to not share with your fellow citizens...

It’s available for aircraft including helicopters. Trick is that with deer, bears, etc., blocking objects (boulders, trees, etc.) and a very smart prey they would have a hard time using it effectively.

As the one Freeper suggested, I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t set up an ambush kill zone for a “final exit”. I personally wouldn’t be clomping around the woods with those clowns; however, a small team of experienced SF, Seals or Rangers would be a much better and safer bet.
