Conversation this morning a question arose about military heat identification technology from low flying aircraft Is that a possibility ?
It’s available for aircraft including helicopters. Trick is that with deer, bears, etc., blocking objects (boulders, trees, etc.) and a very smart prey they would have a hard time using it effectively.
As the one Freeper suggested, I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t set up an ambush kill zone for a “final exit”. I personally wouldn’t be clomping around the woods with those clowns; however, a small team of experienced SF, Seals or Rangers would be a much better and safer bet.
It's probably already being used. It's infra red, it's called forward looking infra red or (FLIR) on gun cameras. A small camera can also be used on the ground.
Not until the leaves fall in another month. The foliage up there makes tough work for a FLIR camera.
