Good luck with that. Lead is cheap. Anything embedded in a ship will be shielded to prevent detection. They’re worried about something coming in via a shipping container. They’re missing the forest for the trees. Every ship headed for any US coastal city could be carrying an embedded bomb. Some engineering officer could trigger it via a normal looking and operating control panel. Could be a member of the crew that came on board once cargo was loaded for NYC or NJ with the info that’s unknown by anyone else on board. Someone will get paid to get them on board.
