I just find it odd that during such a time as this, with threats like ISIS rising against US and able to build/acquire all sorts of devastating weapons, that the nation's leadership would encourage the practical destruction of our border and welcome all who invade.

It seems as if GuvCo is setting US up for yet another crisis that won't be allowed to go to waste.

In fact, just as Pearl Harbor encouraged US to go to war, an event like Hagel is logically scaring us with would have people demanding that GuvCo do something, maybe something like martial law?

Their offensive rope-a-dope style offense is hard to understand, but all their plays to date seem to have a specific forth down strategy in mind.

I think the daily polls showing democrat standing for the 2014 elections get a lot more interest from obama and Jarrett than his daily national intelligence briefing
I can imagine him doodling with his pen and worrying about his next fundraiser and tee time during such briefings

I think most of the terror alarmism is coming from Congress, not the WH

The democrat party is in lock-step that the overriding national security issue is them staying in power
and to exploit whatever issue to pander to their base and make sure that happens

an over-the-horizon threat of a major terrorist attack can be dealt with if and when it happens- and blamed on the GOP
