James Inhofe (R-OK), the highest-ranking Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, told Oklahoma City FOX affiliate KOKH 25 that because of the threat of groups like ISIS “we're in the most dangerous position we've ever been in as a nation.” “[ISIS], they're crazy out there, and they're rapidly developing a method of blowing up a major US city” he said.

But there is no way a terrorist could get into this country with any kind of device that could blow up a city....our Southern border is soooooo secure.
I have no doubt plans are being made to turn a merchant ship into a delivery system for a nuclear weapon. At some point that ship will go into a yard and a group will install a bomb in a location that is sealed and unknown to the crew.
After the yard work the ship will go on its way transversing the oceans. At some point it will take on cargo for New York. the operator won’t do anything to raise suspicions. By the time it reaches NYC and diverts into the Hudson River it will be too late. The resulting blast will devastate NYC. The economic impact will be off the scale. Obama is an idiot if he thinks we can absorb that. We’re on shaky ground already.
Obama’s grand plan of pulling us out of Iraq on a specific timetable with no plan for afterward is what DIRECTLY led to the rise of ISIS.

While ISIS is a very serious threat, there are many other flashpoints around the world that Obama has completely neglected or mismanaged. He is doing long lasting damage to this country.
Considering what degenerate liberal cesspools most American cities have become, I have a hard time figuring which ones I might consider ‘not’ expendable.

Okay, if we take statements made recently by Hagel, Dempsey and now Inhofe they seem on their surface to be a little over the top for what the situation is (a war going on in Iraq).
It just makes me think that since these guys are privy to intel that we are not there is something else brewing in the works. Something they have concrete facts about brewing right here in America. That’s a little scary.
I've heard similar rumors that 9/11 was allowed to happen, but never what the event would motivate us to do. What actually has happened since is bizarre.
We now have the creation of a massive Homeland Security system that supposedly can, and perhaps does, monitor each and every citizen and records our communications. GuvCo has even used various elements against political opposition.
But at the same time, the government opened the border far and wide and welcomes and encourages all who invade with rewards greater than the citizens who pay for them receive, while claiming we are at war? Curious. Who's the war actually against?
After Pearl Harbor during FDR's time, did we treat the border and those who invade in a similar way as we do after 9/11 or have things changed? If so, how and why??
They don’t need to blow up NYC ,, they picked the wrong target in the towers... if they had destroyed the telephone exchanges and IP connectivity at the nearby ATT switch hubs it would have done much more damage to the US economically.

You know, even though it may be distasteful to some of those on the left, their “never let a crisis go to waste” mentality could actually be hoping for some thing big so they can get more Marxist programs going. I mean after the ones they got after the last crisis (financial banking)
