The National Journal ^ | 07/01/2014 | Shane Goldmacher

Posted on 07/01/2014 9:10:26 AM PDT by TheConservator

It's going to be a little more difficult to ferret out which members of Congress are lavished with all-expenses-paid trips around the world after the House has quietly stripped away the requirement that such privately sponsored travel be included on lawmakers' annual financial-disclosure forms.

COS is a great idea but for the fact that, as Mark Levin states, we are living in a post-Constitutional era. How can those wielding unConstitutional powers right now be constrained by Constitutional Amendments in the future? It's the one thing Levin never explains because the reason is that the evil Powers That Be simply will not be constrained. They are using powers that do not exist, completely unopposed by our Representatives, who are part of the problem.

That is not to say it shouldn't be done, but the question is "Who will enforce it?"

Bad graphic. The size of the patch should indicate relative donation size.

It shoudl be done so that if they ignore it, we can have even more justification for deposing them later on...

Sort of like saying you really mean it this time! Ultimately, the situation is the same. They are trying to destroy the nation, and to great extent are succeeding.

They won’t have to disclose the money spent on the trips or who spent it. Neither will they have to report it as income to the IRS. Now, who truly believes congress will do anything about the IRS “scandal”?

Republicrat, Demican, I don’t see a difference.

But you’d better believe that when mid-terms come up later this year, the usual suspects will be howling that we’d better pull the Republican lever OR ELSE!

It is easier to hang Tyrants during a revolution if you have the rule of law backing you up. As well as re-establishing order afterwards and ensureing that the next cycle is longer.
