Here we see “REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY” in everyday practice - from those churches who continue to DENY GOD’s WORD that Israel is going to be FULLY RESTORED to their homeland - just as God desires and intends!
We have enough of them. Let them stay in Iraq, Iran, and Saudi.
I don’t agree they are as bad as Muslims but PCUSA are quite liberal and this particular preacher is a nutjob.
Obviously a deep thinker, idiot.
I should also note that one will find this PERVERSE and HERETICAL thinking about the Jews and keeping them out of their homeland that God is currently restoring them to - in such Christian groups that teach REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY — which one will find a foundation for in “Covenant Theology”
The OPPOSING theology, which forms the foundation for the firm support of God restoring the Jews to their homeland - is found in DISPENSATIONALISM!
Here’s something that I just posted in another thread about DISPENSATIONALISM and it’s firm and Biblical support for the full restoration of Israel to its homeland!

An addition to the information on Dispensationalism ... which forms the BASIS for most Evangelical Christians in SUPPORT OF ISRAEL as STILL SIGNIFICANT in Gods prophetic timetable. The nation of ISRAEL is not only significant, but is ABSOLUTELY INDISPENSABLE in Gods timetable for the immediate future - and the setting up the Kingdom and One-World Government on this earth, over all the nations we see here now - with Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, ruling and reigning from the city of Jerusalem!
Dr. Mark Hitchcock discusses Dispensationalism as the main topic, but in doing so, also discusses Covenant Theology. Those are the two main theologies for how different Evangelical Christians view (i.e., interpret) what the Bible says about Israel, the Church, Prophecy, and other such related matters.
Its a very good educational series of sermons given by Dr. Mark Hitchcock, who is the pastor of Edmond Bible Church (in Oklahoma). Youll get a very good overview and understanding of this from Pastor Hitchcock.
You may have even seen him, yourself, on national TV - various news interview programs - as he is invited to many of them from time to time.
On the series of sermons below, youll see that one of them is by Dr. Charles Ryrie of Dallas Theological Seminary. Its a name you should have heard of. Its quite an honor for Faith Bible Church to have Dr. Ryrie speak at the church.
In addition, Dr. Hitchcock co-authored a book by Dr. John Walvoord of Dallas Theological Seminary - called Armageddon, Oil and Terror! If you dont know Dr. John Walvoord, you should get to know him, as hes considered the godfather (so to speak) of Prophecy in our modern Church age.
See below for a brief bio of Dr. Mark Hitchcock.

I’d tell him to go...know...himself.
I will not argue with anything g you’ve experienced. However just to point out one extremely critical difference between the kibbutzes and communism — the participants of the kibbutzes joined them voluntarily. Also they may leave anytime they wish. Since everyone naturally associates “ communism” with tyrannical dictatorships, forced “membership” or enslavement, and the loss of individual liberty, I never use that term when discussing the kibbutzim. It conveys a terribly inaccurate image. (The term “ voluntary communes” is quite workable, IMHO) Just a small thing in a way, but also it has some importance. Interestingly also, while the small kibbutz segment of Israeli society contributed a disproportionately large number of leadership people, the greatest economic growth and success in that country has taken place since it took several steps back towards more free markets and capitalistic investments. Thus, even the voluntary form of socialized living has pretty much failed to outdo a more competitive model But yes, there are still some people who choose to remain in kibbutzim and from the interviews I’ve seen it appears that mode of life is quite agreeable for some folks. I say, fine and dandy — it’s their choice as free citizens — and all the very best to them! Best regards.
Thanks SJackson.
This Grimm guy must really love demonstrating his ignorance.
I could not locate the biblical passage in which God promised America to the Jews, and I also missed the part where He took back Israel and gave it to someone other than the Jews.
Well, all kinds of references to non-Catholics, particularly in New England, considering America the Promised Land. Starting most forcefully with the Pilgrims. Not for Jews, they being the new Jews. Replacement theology stuff, though the reference to America as a refuge for actual Jews rather than the New Israel is creative. The most interesting thing, the rather shameful Presbyterian Leader doesn’t think there’s any necessity to consult the Jews.
You know, if it weren’t for my time on FR, I’d think there were simply Presbyterians. Somewhat different movements. Important only to me, most people see the headline and don’t differentiate.
You’re correct about this being the everyday practice of replacement theology. I had nothing to add to your posts, but wanted to acknowledge them.
Ex-pats tend to be liberal and anti-nationalist. KLibbutzniks were never a majority and were only so prevalent because they collaborated with the British to keep Revisionist Zionists out. Israel did not become communist, much to the chagrin of the Soviet, leading to their repeated attempts to destroy Israel. Israel is less socialists today than pre-Thatcherite Britain.
